I am a South African and tommorrow parliment votes on the Protection of State Information Bill. If the bill is past as it stands, then the ideals of democracy are lost for us. The bill gives any person in government the ability to classify information and if a journalist or member of the public leaks that information they are subject to a heavy jail term, this applies even if the information shows criminal activity or involvement. It will no doubt be used as a means to cover up corruption and wrong doing by government officials, we as a people will have no means to know what our government is doing. Please stand with us against state secrecy and demand the right to know! We Are The People The Goverment Should Be For Us! Viva Occupy Wall St Viva Revolution
