Thanks is wonderful, but helping wake people to the facts everywhere you go is another way to support the movement whenever, wherever.
Next time you hear people complaining about the prices at the grocery store, explain to them that Goldman Sachs created a commodities index so they could speculate on your groceries and drive the costs so high. In the last few years wheat has been driven from $4 to $25 through speculation only. WE haven't always had the Goldman Sachs Commodity Index, and we don't need it at all. It is all for them to make more money. All we have to do is Demand loudly that they end the speculation right now! This will give occupiers a heck of a lot more money for other things besides food. And this is something that is literally killing people in other countries, the GSCI is driving the food costs everywhere.
Next time you are at the gas station and the person over from you is complaining, explain to them that the Koch brothers created a derivative to start speculating on your oil prices. WE don't need this at all, but it sure does benefit the Koch brothers and others. Even Goldman Sachs has admitted the cost of gas is at least twice what we should be paying. Ask those Republicans if they still want to support the Koch controlled party now?
Thats what we're giving thanks for! For people like yourself....so....THANK-YOU! lol.....FOR educating others, THANK-YOU, for trying to make our community a better and more loving place. THANK-YOU for thinking of MY children, as you think of all children.
This is a hard job, occupy have taken on. To (as you so rightfully say) 'wake up', the community, and the population at large is a significant task, that by no means comes without risk, and most here do it, without any appreciation, and some, even do it when it is not desired by the communtiy itself, ergo FOR their valiant efforts and yours also, I give thanks, and, I ask you to thank those like yourself, who, share in this enormous task with you.
I say, that the people who would selflessly engage the truth, regardless of harm, or risk to self, are heroes.
I say you are a hero, for speaking out, and a perfect example, of the very reason I created this thread. To give 'us' a chance to appreciate, and show grattitude, to those individuals like yourself, who refuse to be silenced. Who refuse to be controlled.
