I believe there still should be resistance toward illegal arrests. Form human chains don't just go with the police to jail. If a cop grabs someone from the crowds hold on to them! grab their legs, arms, body and don't let go. Don't strike out at the police, don't swear at them or make them mad intentially. But hold your ground and keep the human chains. The cops will get tired before you will laying on the ground holding on to eachother. Please be careful. I will be in DC Oct 15th, just trying to save some money for the 20 hour car drive. Please let me know what you think.

Anyone activated enough to participate in this or any other modes of civil disobedience should read MLK's The Power of Nonviolence. The Civil Rights Movement owes a lot of its successes to the commitment to resist nonviolently. Utilizing nonviolent resistance strategies empowers individuals and the group seeking change. It also wins the hearts and minds of those watching around the world.

MLK had it right when he said "Then we had to make it clear also that the nonviolent resister seeks to attack the evil system rather than individuals who happen to be caught up in the system." It's not about humiliating, but to win over others. And remember, protesters, the arc of justice is bending in your direction. Please read the genius of this man.

yes/ they are. 39. yes, that cop who manages tofinally collar a real criminal is still a carreer sciopath and abully.all cops are by definition paid bullies, and caste traitors. whether or not they are all the same, a storm trooper is on the wrong side of the force. I have lived it. I KNOW. Cops are evil scum.Understand this, its not a screed, its a warning. They won't stopand they have no conscience. they willkill casually if things go that way or maim people for the sport of it. i do not represent the "movement."

you'd all be better off actually joining me in an information revolution. its a lot of high drama. if you have to ask yourself whether or not to resist you have already crossed the line into thinking what you are doing is real, or anything other than theater. Cops are evil scum. If you think resisting would be so easy, you don't understand how far they would go. They have no conscience. They would just beat you apart with sticks and claim you made them do it.

Cops are scum? Do you hear yourself? How old are you? So the Cop that arrests the rapist or crack attic child beater is scum? They this They that. People are individuals. The Cops are not the Borg. Their not all the same. You should consider sociology classes. I thought this was the real deal at 1st but once I discovered their is no leader! and no demand I was stunned. I quickly lost interest. This whole thing could've been much Bigger. Some educated minds have given some really good ideas but the majority of the things I read on this site are hypothetical and or dysfunctional political fantasies. Dam shame. Michael Moore spoke and gave some comfort saying this is only the beginning. Maybe a group will come with specific demands and resolutions the majority will agree with. This has been entertaining. Work hard, Take a shower, SHAVE! and be productive

Do not resist. They control the media, they will use against the struggle. Any resistance will be met with cries of terrorism from the media.
