Since the govt. officials are trying to deter the movement by telling the homeless to go to the movement site, so it makes it look like the protest movement are just a bunch of useless bums, all protestors should tell the homeless whom are not really there to participate to go to the nearest house of worship for shelter since they are religious men of GOD and the priests, reverends and rabbi's will provide them with food and shelter.

That is messed up and Im calling you on it. We in OWS are middle class becoming poor and upset about it, when there have been really poor people. We aren't kicking them out, they have tenure when it comes to being robbed by wall street.

Let them continue to send the homeless. Let them continue to talk about useless bums.

They are scared.

So the 99% will send the most downtrodden of the 99% away to hunt down for other places to stay. Gotcha, real compassionate there. Way to not spare some food or shelter.

I think this may result in some unfortunate misunderstandings

Churches don't really do that in NY. They might open a soup kitchen on Saturday morning but opening the coffers to everyone homeless would bankrupt them overnight. Who then to attract the masses and spread the word?

The very fact that they are possessed of a hypersensitivity of evil, requires the doors be barricaded at night.

I don't believe there was any malice in the suggestion that those who have expressed such generosity and compassion could be more aptly viewed and readily accessible at Liberty Square.

But I would also add that this is typical of the NY sense of humor.

"Nearest house of worship." Yea those people who believe in God...you know....them.

I'd like to put my fist in your liberal face for this posting

Yea...Those Christians will take in anybody. Let's dump our problem on them.

You fucking creeps.

If the churches would take care of the homeless why haven't they been doing so already? In my city the churches are plentiful, and christian high school and college is extravagant, and there are tons of homeless around. Churchs are not all so giving toward the homeless. They would rather build a bigger church.

Stereotypes are fun! I know what you mean though. I go to Auburn and back home things are like that for most of them, ours is about taking care of people, but most aren't. Sad.

With or without the homeless, it still looks like a bunch of useless bums. Sounds like them too.
