The sanitation and health became big issue and the mess they could not clean up gave excuse to authority to act.

There should be accountability for causing such a drastic blow to the movement.

I saw a lot of the blame placed on the homeless - you allowed them to come in, and therefore were placed "at risk of tuberculosis" and other diseases. The moral you're supposed to take to this is that you need to turn away, ignore, and persecute the homeless just like everybody else.

Rather than trying to spin the results one way or another, I should say that some ground truth on TB in homeless in New York can be found at http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm5406a4.htm

the continual denial of resources to the movement is a common tactic of establishment

the more harass that comes from the city

the dirtier the protest becomes

Porta potties were not allowed when that would have mitigated must distress about sanitation

Health and sanitation was the prime reason. If we do not act this movement will not revive.

Before we blame, ask why we were thrown out after 3 months. Every thing was peaceful
