I know many of you don't support this guy, but please support this legislation.
Ron Paul is the only candidate who supports sound money, STOPPING THE WARS, and protecting the liberty of the American people.
All the rest of those idiots will say and do anything to get elected, then stay on the corporate dole the whole time, selling you and me up the river.
I dont really understand the Ron Paul wing of this movement. Ron Paul supports having absolutely no regulation on Wall St. at all. How would that keep the greedy from exploiting workers? I just dont know why this is a part of OWS which speaks out against many of the things Paul would allow, full bore, if he were in power.
That's not true - he wants to restore the Glass-Steagall Act. The Glass-Steagall Act was originally enacted to protect us from a Great Depression from happening ever again. Powerful financial interests had it repealed under Clinton, and voila - look what happened - what will turn out to be the Greatest Depression.
So was Social Security and Medicare....along with universal healthcare if we ever get it. Now you arent going to tell me Ron Paul is for that are you?
No assistance for the poor, no department of education.....no government funded education of any kind, including grants or state schools.
Sorry, anti war is not enough. Glass-Steagall is not enough. Even the Gold Standard (which might not be such a bad idea) is not enough until he comes around on the government having some kind of role in things. 30 years of less government intervention in these things has brought us what?
You misunderstand his position on education - it should be the domain of the states and local municipalities. As should marijuana regulation. As should marriage/civil union.
States should be more powerful, they are much easier for us to influence.
Don't you think the federal government is way too powerful?

Respectfully, do your homework on global warming - we are actually in a global cooling period. Also, most if not all of the climate change on Earth is due to solar flare activity and other events beyond our control. Follow the money with respect to the global warming crowd. Al Gore is an elitest fraud.
respectfully no, we are not in global cooling period. i studied meteorology and climatology to the phd level. It is a fact and the only reason anybody has to not think so is exxon lies. Also solar flare activity is a tiny tiny tiny contributing factor to etc, not even in the top ten actual causes. Also AL Gore is an idiot and his only relationship to global warming is its an issue he tried to tide the coat tails of and screwed because he didn't do his homework.
