The government has no right to sell what belongs to us so that we can buy it back through a private entity - this is criminal

Currently we pay for internet and cable through lines put up by telecom (justifiable they charge a fee to access those lines) but RF spectrum eliminates those lines...the government sold it to companies so the companies can lease it to you - this is an outrage - It is air space that the government controls - why should be pay a private corporation to use it? ????

"Most countries consider RF spectrum as an exclusive property of the state. The RF spectrum is a national resource, much like water, land, gas and minerals. Unlike these, however, RF is reusable. [2] The purpose of spectrum management is to mitigate radio spectrum pollution and maximize the benefit of usable radio spectrum. [3]..." Wiki RF Spectrum

As part of the Obama tax relief they thew in a provision gifting (allowing corporations to buy ) RF spectrum so corporations can sell it to us. When did our government become a brokerage firm for corporations to sell to us and worst of all doing it with property that is public commons. This belongs to the people instead the government is selling it to companies so they can then gouge you. When we all could have had free internet the government instead is gifting it to corporations so they can sell it to you. The internet belongs in the commons. http://www.fcc.gov/encyclopedia/radio-spectrum-allocation

It keeps getting worse, doesn't it? Dont-cha know, we're just cows to be milked. Gov'mint's role is to help the corpoRATS extract the last thimbleful.

No wonder they shut down the physical occupations. We and renewed commitment to the commons is extremely threatening to them and their vision of the future (hellish to us, godlike to them).

yes exactly - this would like government selling the national forest to McDonald's and then letting them charge us a ridiculous fee to enter (though they already have opened up all our national forests to private corps to go in and drill and log) I think that is pure outrage as well since they are public lands then the public owns the mineral rights to the land (let alone that this greenspace was set aside as a National treasure so future generations could remember the planet untouched by human hands.) - It's like taking a wrecking ball to a piece of living history.

Our "public servants" serve the corpoRATS -- selling cows to buy milk. Not stupid, criminal.

How come only space for public responders was spared? Why wasn't it all / it already belongs to the people? The government has no right to sell what belongs to us so that we can buy it back through a private entity - this is criminal
