You mean if we wait for new and better leaders, chosen by corporations, every 2-4 years, its not going to do anything?

Yes. Maybe this should be the focus of the movement:

Stop participating in the political process (voting, writing letters, etc).
Find/create a solution for the short term that paves the way to the future we want.
Focus all energy on achieving that future.
