No claims of originality here, but what proportion of the world's problems would be solved if we made one simple change to our laws, that change being to replace the veil of anonymity and limited liability of corporations with the full transparency and joint and several liability of its owners and employees?

I don't understand what "several liability" means

is that less than full liability?

this is an interesting idea.

Even if it isn't entirely workable - we could easily hold it up as a method to inspire fear and generate reaction.

The problem is that it may scare small business owners as well . . .

"... we could easily hold it up as a method to inspire fear..." ... that just sounds..... awesome..... cause it's TOTALLY the job of the American government to inspire fear.... or am I getting that mixed up with the Nazis? You might want to choose your wording more carefully next time.

Those who oppose us already know fear. I was simply suggesting we capitalize on that.

I don't think we should capitalize on fear, that will just make the world hate us more. Instead we should capitalize on helping countries in need.

We can't ignore FEAR any more then the very act of breathing. Fear is part of every one of us or we would be dead by now. Don't ignore who you are. Learn!!!

Fear does affect us and don't pretend it doesn't. It's what we do with it that really matters and it's all that matters.

Death is inevitable, yes I'm going to try and stay alive but not because I'm motivated by fear. I'm not afraid of death. Yes fear does affect my life and I'm not saying that we should ignore it, I'm saying a COUNTRY shouldn't try and make it's people fearful.

Ok, I think the problem here is you speak in generalities.

Let's try this. What is the number one thing that "our country" is making all of us fearful of? Please try to be specific so I have a chance to understand you.

Thanks!

Ok, I'm not going to play your guessing game. I don't have time for it. NOT ONE government should make it's people fearful of anything. Also don't be condescending I'm not 5. You took my context of fear and twisted it. I never said to ignore fear or that fear doesn't affect us, I said the government shouldn't use it as a weapon

One more time. A weapon for what? Specifically!

Nazis?

You have no fear death which is very noble of you to say. Are you better than us?

See if you can answer a question this time. Go for it Mr.Fearless leader. We are humbled by you.
