Forum Post: Republicans denounce OWS, Democrats voice support.

Posted 1 year ago on Feb. 4, 2013, 4:32 p.m. EST by owsarmy (271)
This content is user submitted and not an official statement

Is this meaningful? I recently expressed the opinion that Democrats have utilized the language of OWS to get elected and push certain legislation.

Although a fellow poster misunderstood and accused me of several statements I didn't make, in the end he did corroborate my harmless statement.

As you can see here:

http://occupywallst.org/forum/lets-look-occupy-numbers/#comment-924020

While OWS remains properly uninvolved with party politics, and direct campaigning, Do we care if our agenda is supported by politicians currently in power?

I liked Kucinich, (but he was redistricted out of office), Grayson is excellent, and Warren shows great promise in her stated positions on wall st. Of course Sanders has always been great, and other politicians who are members of the progressive caucus.

I suppose I still believe we must get money out of politics and retire all anti 99% politicians from both corrupted parties.

I suggest we consider who supports the change we are fighting for. Let's identify any other Kucinichs/graysons/Sanders who might be amongst this corp bought congress.

So that when and if we implement a new system we might have a good idea of who can be trusted.

Trust no politician.

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

And no one over 30!

What about Sanders? Can we trust him a little?

[-] 2 points by Sandy0621 (175) 1 year ago

Politicians will listen to the money but follow whoever delivers the votes. It isn't their support you need. You need the active educated support of a majority. With that you'll have the politicians changing things to keep those votes.

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

Perhaps then there is hope that if we can get enough voters to threaten reelection we can force change that helps the 99%.

[-] 1 points by Sandy0621 (175) 1 year ago

You can always hope. The reason big money can dictate policy is that most voters don't bother to stay informed in the first place. You need to get their attention and somehow keep them engaged in the political process.

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

Me? You mean we, right?

[-] 0 points by Sandy0621 (175) 1 year ago

Personally I don't have much faith in the public. They reelect politicians they know are corrupt, make decisions based on 15 second attack ads.

I think it's going to take a lot more misery before people wake up and do anything.

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

Well this great progressive movement is educating more people everyday. So it isn't me. It is WE. I hope you are part of that WE. And not part of the uninformed.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 1 year ago

Yes, we care if the politicians are addressing our goal

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

It seems they are not really addressing our goals. Certainly not adequately, and not to my satisfaction.

Should we just forget them, and work on a new system?

Should we work on changing campaign/election laws to make 3rd party access fair, Should we work on money out of politics.

Should we continue pressuring existing politicians while we work on all the above.?

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 1 year ago

money put of politics is an oxymoron

the government uses money to function

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

Indeed it is an oxymoron. I suppose the meaning is that we want to end political campaign contributions (publicly funded campaigns! Yes!) and we want to end the lobbying industry as well.

So we ay "money out of politics" (not government, thats the libertarians) it's a lot simpler.

Whattya think?

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 1 year ago

people should vote publicly by name

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

And how will that help?

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 1 year ago

not sure

everyone will be able to verify the results ?

seems to be a different issue.

If people vote publicly, they would be able to be tallied at anytime

.

the house could be a parliamentary system where a number of top vote getters in each state are appointed.

This would break the party hold of contesting one individual against another

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

I like the verification aspect. We can accomplish that by printing your vote with a unique PIN, that you can verify online perhaps.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 1 year ago

public verifications is necessary to prevent rigging (not pin numbers)

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

whats wrong with pin numbers.? They work at my bank.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 1 year ago

my friend doesn't even trust our credit union with her money.

But every needs to be able to verify who voted for what

not just some computer system

[-] 1 points by occupyitnow (31) 1 year ago

That would likely lead to reprisals and targeting by opposition. You underestimate the ruthless potential of human beings.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 1 year ago

those reprisals should also be exposed publicly by everyone

I'm tired of cheating business telling me what I can and cannot express

[-] 1 points by occupyitnow (31) 1 year ago

Got it. Well, it would have a chilling effect on voter turnout, no doubt. Less people would be willing to spend their 15 minutes of fame (for being killed in vote violence) in exchange for a vote.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 1 year ago

No one has a job for me

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

Well we'll see if any changes occur.

I suppose I would be most happy if we can increase the turnout significantly and prevent the vote suppression/electoral manipulation currently going on.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 1 year ago

make election days state and national holidays

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

Also support. That would improve turnout!.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 1 year ago

Kucinich,

the party "there's only one" got rid of him

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

They're all the same. Theres no hope.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 1 year ago

I know that argument doesn't make much sense

surely people are as good as they are bad

.

but in a system of numbers,

those that are dishonest about those numbers can manipulate the rest

[-] 0 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

Yeah, we should just lump em all together and forget about any of em. They're all corrupt. There's no hope.

We are doomed. We will not be able to rally the masses to avoid a meltdown. I do not think OWS, or the Tea Party, or the Repubs or Dems will be able to stop the inevitable collapse. We just can’t get our shit together.

I understand how cynical this is, but probably the most likely scenario. Only when conditions force people out of the comfortable serene lives will they pay attention and get involved. We can only hope it doesn’t get too bad before people wake up..

Well if it is decades in the future how could you possibly know what will happen? Obviously, things can change if we work at it. You aren't interested in preventing the collapse.?

I hope you're not one of those who feeds off of apocolyptic predictions. usually that is simply done to increase gold, gun sales and scare people into voting against their own interests.

[-] 1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 1 year ago

Well Kucinich is gone, so there goes him.

Sanders and Grayson are both decent, but lack the hard edge that is needed to push things through.

Honestly, there isnt anyone in there. People who are game changers dont make it to that level, much less stay there

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

Except Kucinich? he made it to that level.

[-] 1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 1 year ago

He did. And look what they did to his district. That wasnt a Republican thing, or a Dems allowed it thing, thats a "We need to get this guy the hell out of here, he's not fitting in anymore" thing.

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

I'm pretty sure the Ohio state republicans gerrymandered him out of office, as Republicans all over the country have gerrymandered all but 12 of the current seats they hold in the house to eliminate any opposition.

And I know that Kucinich voted 90% with Democrats so is that meanngful?

I thought the republican plan was to pour Superpac (CU) money into state takeovers in 2010 in order to redistrict/gerrymander repub majority seats.

That is what has happened. Isn't it?

I believe the great Kucinich pretty much stated that.

I think this al makes republicans uniquely the enemies of the 99%.

Dems suck!

[-] 1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 1 year ago

Kucinich isn't in office anymore and practically nothing he authored ever made it past committee because both Democrats and Republicans left him out to dry in pursuit of their venal interests

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

But if one honest politician is possible then more are possible. With all the corruption there are isolated cases of good politicians. We can't be defeatist,

I have demonstrated for politicians to step resign, but mostly I protest for change in policy. That means a change implemented by the corrupt politicians bought off by the corp 1% enemies of the people.

[-] 1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 1 year ago

The corporations and banks have seized control of our government, major forms of media, and have brainwashed people with propaganda. Propaganda I myself even used to believe.

Look, if you search Kucinich on this forum, you will see I have posted more from him than anyone else on this forum. But politicians do not want to be like Kucinich. Kucinich doesn't win. Kucinich doesn't get legislation passed. Kucinich doesn't get corporate kickbacks that most people who run for office enjoy.

People that seek power are mediocre at best, and generally venal.

Sorry but democrats are not here to save you. Dennis wasn't even a democrat. He was more of a socialist. Democrats, similar to republicans, are a corporate entity now. And when Kucinich tried to pass public option single payer health care, everyone left him in the dust because it did not have lobbyist approval.

You can cling to the dream that the democrats will save you, but it is just a dream.

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

I am not "clinging to the dream that the democrats will save me" I believe WE the 99% will save the country from the corp owned govt.

Money out of politics!

Kucinich WAS a democrat. Held more progressive beliefs then dems, and his best ideas were NOT embraced by the Democrats (many in both parties are bought off and have moved further right in the last 3 decades) but he was a dem. Sorry does that make you feel sad?

Kucinich did support public option (Like many dems) it was republicans that forced a compromise on that issue. Kucinich got none of his best ideas passed but he supported and vote 90% of the time with democrats so I think we should trust him and support what he did.

[-] 2 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 1 year ago

Kucinich was the only person to put up public option. It was abandoned after Obama took office. And no one in the democrat majority congress helped Kucinich, or even tried to make it public knowledge, that the public option was being attempted by Kucinich.

Kucinich is one of a kind. No one else is like him.

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

Yeah kucinich rocks. We need more Dems like him. How about Grayson? He supports a public option. In fact the entire Congressional Progressive Caucus supports the public option. Did you miss that?

[-] 1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 1 year ago

Too bad regular Congress isn't doing anything about it. Like I said they continually left Kucinich out to dry.

I'll believe it when I see it. They have a way with talking. I have little faith in political parties that support dangerous drug laws and work with Wall Street as well as refuse to acknowledge the ongoing wars are actually wars of imperialism and profits for war profiteers and they are not solving the problem they claim.

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

Oh please. The parties suck. but when you talk about issues it is only the progressive caucus (which Kucinich was a member) that usually has the best positions.

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 1 year ago

By support do you mean they openly and relentlessly criticized the other Dems who voted for this forced corporatism bullshit?

No, you mean they said one thing and then sold out to the insurance companies.

People funded by Wall Street will not save you from Wall Street.

Go look at the TARP voting record and see their true colors. Or the 98-0 NDAA for 2013 in the Senate.

There are about 5 decent ones, but as mentioned before with The NDAA vote, even Sanders voted yes.

People like Dennis are the minority, using him to suggest Democrats support OWS is not accurate. He is about the only one.

Republicans and Democrats are funded by big banks and corporations There is a corporate takeover of government happening. These politicians funded by corporations will lie and propagandize to get elected.

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

It is up to the people to protest against all politicians, and to get money out of politics. I acknowledge both party have been corrupted, I do not dismiss the possibility of getting some progress out of the current politicians. That is too simplistic and defeatist. We the people will create a better governing system, We the people will continue fighting for change with those who currently have power in our government.

[-] 2 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 1 year ago

We are at the point where the only thing we have left is massive levels of civil disobedience. We must follow the footprints of every successful movement in history.

Cherishing and depending on a mainstream corporate political party will not accomplish our goals.

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

Which is why i do not "cherish and depend on mainstream corporate political parties"

[-] -1 points by EmergencyAlert (51) 1 year ago

See what people are saying. Can you refute this?

Why not? Because it is true. Why is it true? This is America. We are not Nazis. So why is our government behaving like that?

Because Nazis has infiltrated our intelligence, NASA and military industrial complex after WWII.

10 Indications The United States Is A Dictatorship

Posted by Alexander Higgins

An in-depth review of the current role of the US Government in domestic and international affairs reveals the US has indeed become a totalitarian democracy.

“Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely” — Lord Acton

For a people to be free, they must first be honest with themselves, their government, and the world at large. History is filled with stories of free nations that fell under the spell cast by their governments who exploited the threat of terror.

In fact, numerous presidents in American history already have used various specific threats to sidestep their Constitutional restraints. Today we are entering a nebulous world where our “enemy” cannot be defined, has no particular allegiance to one country, and is able to adopt new leaders at will. Rather than encourage a sense of resilience and independence in its citizens, America has chosen to amplify the terror threat in order to concentrate power in the hands of the State. The very first signpost on this historically familiar road to tyranny is an atmosphere of hate, suspicion, and vindictiveness. It first begins as an outwardly directed aggression and then rather abruptly turns inward upon itself.

The good news is that freedom is won and lost in our hearts and minds. It is for this reason that we must state the obvious: we have clearly passed through the first “atmospheric” stage of approaching dictatorship, and have now entered the second — the open behavior of a dictatorship in the United States.

1. War Mongering Under The Facade Of American Liberty

2. Crushing peaceful protest (OWS): Despite the current mission to defend protesters living in dictatorships overseas, when George Bush brought “free speech zones” to America it effectively spelled the end of peaceful, lawful street protest. Now the full force of brutality and surveillance has been unleashed upon the very people intent in stopping it through peaceful means. It is as sure a sign as any about totalitarian intentions, when anti-war activists have become one of the targets. The activist is beginning to equal terrorist in the all-seeing eye of the State, and any street gathering is a sure sign to let loose all of the riot weapons that were formerly used against insurgents on foreign battlefields. One look at the G20 protest in Pittsburgh, a recent Illinois University event, and the ongoing travesty of the torture and incarceration of Bradley Manning, and we can begin to see through the propaganda of White House officials when they talk about terrible dictators in other nations crushing dissent.

3. Checkpoints: The slow acclimation of the populace to military-style checkpoints began first as border control operations up to 100 miles inland in what the ACLU calls the Constitution Free Zone. However, this has rather quickly morphed into local traffic stops across the country for “unsavory” characters such as those targeted by the Amber Alert system and DUI checkpoints. Though apparently well meaning, we are now far beyond even loosely suspected criminal activity, as VIPR teams have been introduced to take over public transportation and events. The TSA tyranny has hit the streets of America, now forming a de facto internal passport system straight out of the totalitarian playbook. The expanding checkpoint system dovetails with new initiatives such as the No Ride List proposal of Chuck Shumer, building upon the No Fly List already in place. These no-travel lists are extrajudicial, secret, and form a guilty-until-proven innocent framework that subverts freedom instead of protecting it. Incidentally, this element of constant suspicion is exactly what leads to a citizen spy network.

Patriot App

4. Citizen spy network: Dictatorships know how difficult it is to rule over large populations with only the relatively small numbers of military and police. Despite the lessons of terror created by citizen surveillance that the East German Stasi files left us to examine, just such a network has been openly introduced to present-day America — and now it’s even more high-tech and populated. Secret black budget projects organized through the NSA like Perfect Citizen is just one among many. Our head of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano — in partnership with retailer Wal-Mart – kicked off the See Something, Say Something program, which goes beyond the already high-tech surveillance apparatus of the NSA and turns each of us into an unpaid employee of the police state. Similarly, the web of cameras and data mining is far too massive for even the well-funded NSA, but with gadgets at our disposal we can now download apps to enable spying on our neighbors. Most dangerous of all, though, is new legislation introduced by Peter King that enshrines Janet Napolitano’s program and would provide immunity for accusers “acting in good faith” while reporting suspicious activities. This is guaranteed to lead to false arrests and disappearances, just as it has on every occasion throughout history when a society’s fear becomes self-directed.

5. Executive Orders: This is means by which a dictator can come to power in the United States, despite a framework of checks and balances. Any time a country has centralized its power to the executive branch by erasing the checks and balances of separate legislative and judicial bodies, the result has been dictatorship. And this normally happens when national security is “threatened.” The Constitution is clear, however: only the legislature (Congress) can make laws. Yet, the use of Executive Orders has increased, beginning with President Clinton who came under fire for his abuse of this power, becoming one of only two presidents (the other was Truman’s E.O. 12954) to have an Executive Order struck down by the courts. His successors seem only to have been encouraged. Clinton issued 14, George W. issued over 60, and Obama is at 26 with many more to be expected if he wins a second term. Among the most egregious of Obama’s orders is the ability to hold detainees indefinitely even after a court has found them not guilty. Executive Orders also form the basis for control over regulatory agencies, which then impose the directives. While it seems multi-layered with potential checks and balances, all directives can now be issued top-down in dictatorial fashion.

Feds Crackdown on Independent Farms

6. Control of regulatory agencies: This is the more insidious and, ultimately, dangerous tactic used by dictatorships. Dictatorship through regulation invades every facet of society without relying only upon overt violence. As mentioned above, only the legislature can make laws. However, the legislature has created “regulatory bodies” which make de facto laws through “violations” that rob us of freedom. There is no clearer example at the moment than the FDA, which has brought in near-total food control. The FDA is working in concert with a global agenda being foisted upon us through the Codex Alimentarius commission in Europe which essentially renders anything healthy as toxic, and all that is toxic as healthy. Regulatory agencies in the United States have engendered a system where the corporate-government revolving door leads to corruption and consolidation — not free markets. The current regulations are opposed to the principles of freedom and independence, and favor only those in positions to make money from more control; so more control and less freedom is what we can expect under these federal directives controlling the states.

cont

[-] -1 points by EmergencyAlert (51) 1 year ago

7. President declares war unilaterally: Despite the parade of lies that led to wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, it pales in comparison with the new war in Libya and other interventions and sanctions throughout the Middle East and North Africa. Through Executive Orders, outlined above, the President can declare war so long as there is a resolution passed by Congress. This has been dispensed with through Obama’s illegal wars, and it appears that Congress could go even further by ceding its power completely to the president. The disregard for Congressional approval is already dictatorial, but if this last step is taken we will effectively be living in a permanent state of war tantamount to WWIII that will be controlled at the sole discretion of the current and future presidents. This unilateral power to drag nations into war without checks and balances is a hallmark of dictatorships where entire countries are swept along purely by the ideology of their leader. As Ron Paul and Lew Rockwell have stated, “We have a dictatorship when it comes to foreign policy.” With the latest development, it is actually a dictatorship when it comes to domestic policy as well, since America’s espionage network has turned inward, and this new presidential power would not be limited to overseas actions.

Widespread use of torture by the US Government

8. Torture: Torture has long been a tactic used by America. In fact it runs the leading school on its methods. The School of the Americas (now called WHINSEC) has been responsible for training Latin American dictators and their thugs on how to intimidate the local population and rule with an iron fist. However, the torture debate has hit mainstream media in a serious discussion about its effectiveness, especially following the assassination of Osama bin Laden. Aside from the despicable morals involved, torture doesn’t work for intelligence gathering, according to experts. Furthermore, the legalization of torture was what really brought the dreaded Russian secret police out into the open. When such a declaration is made, it is literally a recruiting strategy to find the criminals and sadists who would love to be part of such a system. Torture is not normal work for normal people; it is the work of psychopaths such as Dick Cheney who loves the tactic of waterboarding so much that he has stated it should be brought back and used more widely. No nation that uses torture to obtain confessions can be called legitimate. It is only used as a tool of intimidation and oppression by totalitarian regimes.

9. Forced labor camps (gulags): This is when we know that a totalitarian society has arrived in full and our society is run completely by coercion. As Naomi Wolf has illustrated, “With its jails in Iraq and Afghanistan, and, of course, Guantánamo in Cuba, where detainees are abused, and kept indefinitely without trial and without access to the due process of the law, America certainly has its gulag now.” Additionally, a silent gulag has already been created inside America, starting with the nation’s prisoners who are increasingly locked up within a for-profit prison-industrial system that makes money both on the construction of prisons as well as the cheap labor force. The Defense Department itself pays prisoners 23 cents per hour to build its weapons systems, which is clearly a type of slave labor. One might immediately argue that there is a huge difference between real prisoners and innocent people swept off the streets as they were in Stalinist Russia, for example, or in modern day North Korea and China. That is to presume, however, that everyone in prison is guilty; and, if they are, that the crimes which have sent them there really constitute offenses worthy of prison sentences. America has the world’s largest prison population and the highest incarceration rate precisely because nearly everything is a jail-time crime, and there is money to be made by the growing corporate prison system. The War on Drugs alone has led to a disproportionate number of inmates for non-violent offenses among the already 2.4 million in jail and the 5 million on probation. With the economy imploding, even debtors prisons have made a comeback. Although FEMA camps are still relegated to fringe conspiracy theory, we should be wary of the potential endgame for such a proven system of oppression. Through Continuity of Government, national emergency directives would openly suspend the Constitution and could possibly lead once again to internment camps in America.

Government Control Of The Media And Censorship Of The Internet

10. Control over all communications (propaganda): Once the physical framework of dictatorial control has been set up, then the justification for its continued presence can commence. The type of high-tech control grid now put into place in The United States to this point has only been explored in works of fiction such as 1984, which has led Paul Craig Roberts to draw a correct parallel. A public emergency announcement system has in fact been in place since the ’50s, whereby the president can interrupt television and radio to deliver critical messages. However, this has been recently expanded even beyond the Telecommunications Act of 1996 as the FCC voted to mandate (PDF) “the first-ever Presidential alert to be aired across the United States on the Nation’s Emergency Alert System (EAS).” Now, with the arrival of the trackable smartphone that can be hijacked to bring government messages (emergency or not) we find ourselves “willing” participants in a scenario reaching far beyond 1984. Using the bin Laden assassination and the threat of guaranteed reprisal, the government has announced that the president will break into these private networks to carry PLAN government messages and warnings; and there is no opt-out. This is slated to go even further, as Infowars has reported: “All smart devices have federally-mandated control and kill switches added. This will give the government total control over incoming information to all smart phones regardless of manufacturer. These policies dovetail with the roll out of Smart Meters and the new Google controlled smart homes which will send messages over the power-lines to your appliances to control power consumption or simply cut the power. In addition, new ‘green’ lighting systems are being installed in government buildings which send and receive data through controlled pulses of light. And now the Pentagon wants the authority to run it all.” At the same time, we have seen the buildup in rhetoric leading toward Internet control. As always, an unsavory element of society (pirating) has been used as one of the pretexts to introduce government control over private industry, while cybersecurity lays claim to total control over the infrastructure for national emergencies. Ideologically, Obama advisor, Cass Sunstein, has proposed a fairness doctrine for the Internet that would enable a government overlay on private websites that would offer counter opinions to anti-establishment content. We are approaching a situation worse than China, where both mental intrusion via propaganda and physical intrusion via systems control are merging. It is not comforting to know, also, that the president made a shocking claim recently that he can censor unclassified documents. There is clearly a concerted effort to take over all forms of information, permitting the government to alter it or censor it before consumption by its citizens. In any other country we would call this a dictatorship.

It would appear that the United States should be a called a dictatorship based on the above criteria. Once the atmosphere is established, average participants need not be part of a conspiracy, as they tend to unquestioningly go with the flow. However, we must acknowledge that the U.S. is in a vastly different position than totalitarian regimes of the past, as well as her contemporaries. America has a history that is built upon the foundation of resistance to dictators. This memory needs to be invoked by following the protections outlined in our founding documents, particularly the power of the states to resist Federal tyranny. The protections therein can be restored once we have the courage to admit how much freedom we have lost, then refuse to succumb to a fear-based perception of reality. Only then will Liberty, Love and Peace prevail!

[-] 0 points by peacehurricane (293) 1 year ago

Yes Victory is what WE already have so Peace does prevail. This is a long list of what America does not look like. My stand is that every aspect of the situations we face have a common denominator and it is the so-called capitol though it is not our country. It was created to escape paying the first soldiers upon returning from war they marched to what the capitol was before this place and thus creating and transferring operations. This so-called fed will keep on eating us up and we shall not let it eat up freedon and all that this country stands for. We shall stand strong in our free land. Now the way to public is the pocket book to leave WDC makes 50% less to be paid in taxes (defense budget) It would be nice for some of you that seem much more capable than I to start figuring out just how this is going to become reality. What I do know is that it will be. When things are messed up and all of them have one link in common it is automatically the root. When this many things have in common one thing it is far from accidental and need not be figured out or went over and over with non possibility and details. Can anyone tell me why it is not so! I mean actually provide a real thing that is responsible for this nightmare. There are no parties when serving elected position. It is unamerican to even have what you belong to inside the process of law making and the peoples will. And who says that they were even elected with crooked process. The process is also the way beyond it. The people will be happy to know that they are not stupid as they think they must be. Here is the common denominator from the People WE want out of war! Obama showed you can raise funds without corporate support. So you can create a party that is independent and self-sufficient.

But the agenda is the key to differentiate yourself enough to give credibility that you will CHANGE, not just say you will. But then you have to deal with the military industrial complex that took Obama to task when he called for criminal prosecution of torturers in the CIA.

Notice how he stopped doing that? Know why he stopped? The CIA gave him his official JKF wake-up call, and after that, he has been towing Brennen's line with drone strikes, extrajudicial killings of US citizens, appointing Clinton and now Kerry (both Yale Bonesmen), and all things Nazi just as if he had attended Yale and joined the Order of Skull and Bones along with the Bushes, Clintons, Kerry, and all the other. A late-bloomer.

But like Hitler played good with Japan, that was only a game, until they didn't need Japan (untermench, as they were) and could pump and dump them full of V-2 vitamins. They are playing B-ball with Obama, but finally he is not Aryan stock. So no final seat when the music stops in the 4th round of the New World Order (the Fourth Reich).

The Fourth Reich was engineered by Werner Van Braun (who sat on their board of directors before he died) and NASA, which he founded after his stint as an SS officer and Nazi war criminal under Himmler and Hitler. His first proposal to the JCS was to control space in order to control the world. They said, "Just do it" and he did it with 150+ other Nazi war criminals from Mittelwerk.

So we have a genuine Nazi weaponized space program, and a Nazi controlled intelligence department, and all we need now is a true-blue Nazi dictator in the White House (another incarnation of Bush). Okay, make do with what you've got, and intimidate a guy who is scared shitless that he is going down as the next MLK or JFK.

That is why Obama is now being branded as a Republican. He is a puppet under the CIA. Does the CIA come to Obama or does he go to the CIA? I recall he went to Langley to view the Osama take down, not the other way. Obama reports to the CIA, like so many other puppet leaders around the world (Karzai, and the list goes on).

Telling someone you got 10s of 1000s of crazy guys with guns who have top security clearances and whose identities no one really knows who are ready to take you out in a heartbeat (like JFK and MLK) and there is nothing you can do to stop it is fairly intimidating, even for the POTUS. I believe he and his family were threatened, and he backed down. In a game of hard ball, you lose unless you got superior firepower.

We need a president and Congress with firepower to clean house and remove the Nazi regime establish by Yale's Order of Skull and Bones (the drafters of the Central Intelligence Act of 1947) and 100+ Hilter's Nazi intelligence agents recruited by the CIA after the war who were absorbed into the CIA under Project Paperclip (extended worldwide through Project Gladio). Another 150+ Nazi war criminals were allowed to control and set-up NASA.

Who does like that? You prosecute Nazis, not give them govt jobs. There was a CIA initiative to favor Nazis over American job applicants at top defense contractors. How insane is that? Not insane when the guys helping them are Nazis themselves. Actual ones. The Bush's had their family bank shut down by the US Govt during WWII under the trading with enemy act. The bank was a shell corp that was supplying money to Hitler, and all the Bushes are members of a secret Nazi society based in Germany (beginning with Prescott Bush, HW and W Bush who all attended Yale where they joined chapter 322 of the secret Nazi society, which both Bush and Kerry admitted they were members of on national TV during the presidential debates. Both said "This is so secret I can't talk about it".). And we elected a Nazi as President of the USA.

Obama was the litmus test of what is the current power of the POTUS. I believe he went in with good intentions, but finally he didn't have the balls to challenge the status quo. We found out very early in his first term what the power of POTUS is, it isn't jack shit. He has no power. The CIA Bonesmen control the executive, intelligence, military, defense industry, BOTH political parties (Bush REP ran against Kerry DEM, and both are Bonesmen). They own the Hilton Worldwide through Blackstone and the Weather Channel (another Bonesmen). They threatened him and he backed down, otherwise, we should have CIA agents on trial for torture (like 4 years ago). We don't and that is the indirect evidence of who calls the shots in Washington.

You don't know what you are up against. Once you know, you can take steps to tackle it. But if you really want to change, then you are going to have to eliminate this corruption. No one is going to hand you anything on a platter. Getting elected is the platter. That's the easy part. Just go to the White House and try to get anything done and you will see who controls the government now.

The CIA smuggles drugs by the ton into the US daily on CIA planes without any customs, military or police oversight.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKlKGB3YwjE This is a video about open source intelligence by a former CIA agent.

Watch the next video by a former LAPD narcotics detective who was approached by the CIA (his father was in the CIA) to help them distribute drugs in LA. He exposed the whole thing on CSPAN by addressing the CIA director! This guy has balls. Begins with his message to police officers who attacked OWS protestors. Revelation of CIA drug dealing starts at 5:50 min. http://vimeo.com/31184525

The CIA has LOTS of money and they use it to bribe and buy off judges, media, politicians, anyone and everyone they need to get their agenda. Newt Gingrich estimated that the Republican party could buy the US govt for $300million per year. The CIA's annual official (undisclosed) budget is estimated at over $5billion. Everyone has their price and they can afford it. If they don't get what they want by threats, bribes or making your life miserable, then you wake up at the bottom of your pool like Matthew Simmons (Bush's top energy adviser who was mobilizing the world around peak oil).

This is not Political Science 101 at school. This is real politik, Nazi style. Read how Hitler came to power. That is their blueprint. They use these tactics to topple and establish puppet dictators around the world, beginning here at home. Everyone knows that American intelligence does this, but few know why. They are acting like Nazis because they actually are Nazis. They are preparing for the Fourth Reich and operating a shadow government.

Are you ready to take them on? If not, stop taking about politics and get ready for the gas chamber unless you are a submissive Aryan ready to work with them. These bastards do not play games or follow rules. All the paperwork to prove all this is on the Internet and the hard copies are in Langley Virginia. The CIA does everything by hard copy (that's how they said they have avoided incidents like Bradley Manning). No low level workers can leave that place with paper.

Do your OWS and some citizen due-diligence in Langley to check it out. I think a 1-2 million man march on Langley should be able to accomplish the task. Arrest any Nazis who threaten or assault you under citizen arrest, search, look for evidence and if they are clean, release them. If not, take them to task to the fullest extent of the law. The power of the people is the ONLY power remaining that can clean out whatever Nazis are there. That means the Internet, and that is what freaks them out the most. That is why they are rushing for a Presidential Internet kill switch. When the shit hits their fan, they will have their puppet shut down the Internet to give them lead time to get out of Dodge. Maybe they would even nuke Washington? God knows, but there is nothing to fear but fear itself.

Can a million people be arrested? Okay, make it 2, 3, 4 or 5 million. Yeah our military is like 1 million, so make it 5-to-1. We have 300+ million people. This is the only way to take back American democracy. Face it, we have lost it to the Nazis. Everything now is just a puppet show. Those who have looked closely and seen how the game runs in Washington know.

Let's see how many prisons Halliburton can make in time.

Wow. I gotta be honest that was a little too long. A bit rambling, but I appreciate your passion. I can't say agree entirely, because I can't say I understand entirely. I'm not much for conspiracies and have little patience for the whole nazi thing. But if you want to respond with a brief concise comment I will try to discuss.

[-] 0 points by EmergencyAlert (51) 1 year ago

I would love it to be a conspiracy, but it is all documented fact.

It is simple. We had Nazis already on-board in the US before the end of WWII. In fact the head of the OSS was one. They hand-picked the cream of the crop and integrated 1800+ into our military-intel-industrial complex to develop the 4th Reich - a global campaign to control the world through control of Space (the brainchild of Werner Van Braun, SS officer and war criminal and 1st director of NASA). That has been developing unchecked since WWII in the US. Outside the USA they expanded through Operation Gladio by creating various puppet dictators, right wing extremists groups and so on.

Because of this we have not had a legitimate war since WWII. If you do not remove them from US Intel you will never be able to control the US govt and get the US back on track.

The US is torturing people. Who does that? Nazis do that. Who implemented it? George W Bush. Who is he? An admitted member of a Nazi secret society and grandson of a man who was charged with trading with the enemy during WWII by the US Govt, who shut his bank down that was funneling money to Hitler. If you can't read govt documents that prove all this, then what discussion can we have?

[-] 1 points by owsarmy (271) 1 year ago

I am well aware of the german scientists we brought over for their rocket knowledge. As well as the use of their "manual"/tactics in torture and secret police usage that we set up in many countries during the 50's. This is of course from 70 years ago. It's important to understand the roots of our problems, and history, I think it is then upon us to change our current situation.

Protest out current torture, drone strikes, invasions, rights violations, and of course the economic unfairness that hurts the 99%.

Much more useful and productive I think.

[-] 1 points by EmergencyAlert (51) 1 year ago

It is a good start that everyone agrees we have holes in our ship, and I agree that we need to bail the water out that is filling up our hull and sinking us. Putting an end to torture, extrajudicial killing of Americans and non-combatants (civilian casualties were 90% in Iraq vs 10% in WWI) is a good move. Of course, no one can argue that this is the total solution.

The total solution involves also going down into the root cause of the problem and repairing the holes that continue to produce water. Otherwise, our bailing efforts will never end, as I am sure you will agree. Repairing those holes means cleaning-up US intel, military and defense industry of any and all remnants of Nazis.

Believe me, they are there, and all the signs and symptoms are there to prove it. Without this resolve, we are not going to get anywhere fast in terms of a sustainable long term solution. This is brain surgery on the US, and the only power left that hasn't been controlled is the power of the American people (the last bastion of freedom, democracy and only hope remaining for America and the world).

It is the only power that can crush the Nazis at this point. Otherwise, in terms of executive and legislative, they have us in check-mate. Judicial without executive is not much of an issue with executive orders, extrajudicial killings, etc. They are successfully maneuvering around SCOTUS.

There is a thief in your house who is raiding your refrigerator and breaking lamps. You can scream and shout and they will hear you and cool off on the midnight snacks and wild parties while you are away at work, but as long as you allow them to remain there, you are going to be facing problems a long way into the future.

The best policy is to locate and remove them, and lock them up.

"locate and remove" I like that. But really they no longer call themselves nazi's. In fact the original Nazi's are all pretty much dead.

Are you referring to neo nazi, racist militia groups.? We have ignored the massive growth of these groups. Very low efforts pursuing them.

They are growing in the military ranks but you aren't talkin about that.

You appear to be referring to upper echelon people. But they aren't actual nazi's, who are hey? We can and should "locate" them as you say. I've always felt the heirs to nazism are todays neocons.

Is that who you are talkin about?

The core group of this movement was founded on May 1, 1776, in Ingolstadt (Upper Bavaria) as the Order of the Illuminati, with an initial membership of five. They plotted to overthrow Europe through a behind-the-scenes manipulation of power (puppet masters). They got exposed and banned in Germany, and later morphed into what became the Nazi Party.

Later on, an American named William Russell, owner of Russell and Co., went to Germany and was granted membership in the Illuminati and authorized to open a chapter (#322) in America, which was named the Order of Skull and Bones. He registered it with Alfonso Taft, whose son became President Taft (the forerunner of the UN).

Russell and Co (and other notables on the list below) was running opium by ship from Calcutta to Beijing before the opium wars. American ships made up a quarter of the total and the rest were mostly British ships. He used that drug smuggling money to endow Yale University (drug money also went to endow Harvard), where the American chapter of the German secret society was established (on campus) in 1832 with their registered office listed in New York at Herriman's (where HW Bush was a director). Yale property is actually owned by the Illuminati chapter under the name of Order of Skull and Bones.

These are some of the most famous members of the Order of Skull and Bones: Lord Whitney Taft Jay Bundy Harriman Weyerhaeuser Pinchot Rockefeller Goodyear Sloane Stimson Phelps Perkins Pillsbury Kellogg Vanderbilt Bush Lovett

Harriman was THE major backer of the Democratic Party for over 50 years. Major players in Skull & Bones have been linked to the financing of both world wars and the creation of many think-tanks and Universities in this country. Bush’s father was a major contributor to the “Hitler Project” as well as the build-up of the Soviet Union. Thus, leading to the inevitable World Wars and the eventual set-up of the United Nations in America. Harriman's financed Bill Clinton's (another member of the order) campaign.

ANTONY SUTTON author of a number of books including: “Wall Street and the Bolshevic Revolution” “Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler” “Wall Street and FDR” “Gold v. Paper” “Energy-The Created Crisis” “National Suicide : Military Aid to the Soviet Union” “Technological Treason” A massive 3-Volume Set titled “Western Technology and Soviet Economic Development 1917-1973”, (While working as a fellow researcher at the Hoover Institute) “America’s Secret Establishment : An Introduction to the Order of Skull & Bones”, in 1984 “The Two Faces of George Bush”, also about "Skull & Bones” “Secret Establishment” was a compilation of his previous materials with a new insight

his previous works focused on the Wall Street Bankers and several organizations they had founded. But, what happened was that someone who was reading his books, said “Hey, look at this”, the research you are doing on these clowns is great, but did you know about “Skull & Bones”? Antony had been doing the research on these particular individuals without knowing that they all belonged to the same “Secret Society” at Yale. The person who made him aware of this was a member of “Skull & Bones” attempting to expose it for what it is. Shortly after, Sutton received a documents package containing the “Actual Membership List of Skull & Bones” and several other documents of the same nature. Sutton then realized that all the key figures of his research were actually part of this secret clan at Yale. That is when it all came together for him.

Wow. Again just Tooooo much info. And a bit out of date.

Do you think we can identify/locate current people threatening the 99%?

Did you miss my question at the end of my last comment?

I've always felt the heirs to nazism are todays neocons.

Is that who you are talkin about?

Every year the Bones recruit 15 new members. People who have been to the CIA and seen what goes on there say it looks like a Yale class reunion. They primarily hire bonesmen for top posts. This is the strategy for securing continuous power for the group through cnotrol of the central intelligence bureaucracy without having to worry about democratic elections. In addition to 100 Nazi spies they added from Hitler, you do not know who else they have hired. Tell me who a Yale-controlled agency of sworn members of a Nazi secret society who have protected 1800 Nazi war criminals, would hire? More Nazis. There were 10,000+ Nazis who escaped to South America (through the Vatican amongst other places). Tell me what is to stop them from recruiting from those families? Do don't know who is there or what is going on there. There is ZERO transparency, which JFK objected to and opposed. For all you know, they sacrifice babies there every night in some Nazi cult ritual. Can you say it doesn't happen? I would say that nothing changed after WWII and the assimilation of the German Nazis (Paperclip and Gladio). Rather they started working on the next nazi project, the Fourth Reich. What else do Nazis do. Your problem is that you are not convinced that the founders, drafters and architects of the Central Intelligence Act of 1947 (Yale Bonesmen) are Nazis in the REAL sense. Not play Nazis. Real ones.

Do some serious research. I have given you the seeds and enough to start with. Yes, Nazis are right wing extremists. But until they are powerful enough to make their move, they are going to sit silently. They are master strategists, not idiots. When they do play their hand it will be hard, fast and ruthless. Study the blitzkrieg and see how they postured prior to that. Making treaties, diplomacy and the whole nine yards. We are dealing with a different class than what you assume in young punk rock skins heads. Those are the SS gestapo types, who will become police of the Fourth Reich if we don't stop it. The master planners are dead, yes. The next generation is in our midst. Maybe they are more enlightened and less into the Aryan race superiority, but that is still there. In any case, their drug lines are still running full speed. I think their main objective would be purifying the DNA and exterminating many of the non-white races. German-centric ideology, at least in America, would not be there so much. Hitler was moved to capture land and throw out the inhabitants to make way for the Germans to occupy and expand their territory, not so much assimilation. When assimilation was there it was on the basis of forced slavery. But yes, this agenda of 1% having all the money and the rest working like slaves is a Nazi agenda for sure. We are in that. The government, through successive administrations of Bonesmen has been optimizing the concentration of power and profit in the hands of the American elite, no doubt. I think they were just developing and preparing for the day when they could conquer and hold space. That day is here. Watch some USAF videos on SPACE and where the US and NASA are in this regard. America was lost after WWII. We lost that war to the Nazis by winning the ground war and losing control over our intel, space program and through them military. They infiltrated and now it is going to be damn near impossible to get them out. You don't know how deep they have gone.

George Bush, Skull & Bones and the JFK Assassination

Rodney Stich’s book "Defrauding America" tells of a "deep-cover CIA officer" assigned to a counter-intelligence unit, code-named Pegasus. This unit "had tape-recordings of plans to assassinate Kennedy" from a tap on the phone of J. Edgar Hoover. The people on the tapes were "[Nelson] Rockefeller, Allen Dulles, [Lyndon] Johnson of Texas, George Bush and J. Edgar Hoover."

Could George Bush be involved in the JFK assassination?

In 1963, Bush was living in Houston, busily carrying out his duties as president of the Zapata Offshore oil company. He denied the existence of a note sent by the FBI’s J. Edgar Hoover to "Mr. George Bush of the CIA." When news of the note surfaced, the CIA first said they never commented on employment questions, but later relented said yes, a "George Bush" was mentioned in the note, but that it was "another" George Bush, not the man who took office in the White House in 1988.

Some intrepid reporters tracked down the "other" George Bush and discovered that he was just a lowly clerk who had shuffled papers for the CIA for about six months. He never received any interagency messages from anybody at the FBI, let alone the Queen Mary.

It is also worth noting that a CIA code word for Bay of Pigs was Operation Zapata, and that two of the support vessels were named Barbara and Houston.

Many say that George Bush was high up on the CIA ladder at the time, running proprietorial vehicles and placed in a position of command, responsible for many of the Cubans recruited into "service" at the time. All through the Iran-Contra affair, Felix Rodriguez, the man who captured and had Che Guevara killed for the CIA, always seemed to call Bush’s office first.

From The Realist (Summer, 1991): "Bush was working with the now-famous CIA agent, Felix Rodriguez, recruiting right-wing Cuban exiles for the invasion of Cuba. It was Bush’s CIA job to organize the Cuban community in Miami for the invasion.... A newly discovered FBI document reveals that George Bush was directly involved in the 1963 murder of President John Kennedy. The document places marksmen by the CIA. Bush at that time lived in Texas. Hopping from Houston to Miami weekly, Bush spent 1960 and ’61 recruiting Cubans in Miami for the invasion....

"George Bush claims he never worked for the CIA until he was appointed Director by former Warren Commission director and then president Jerry Ford in 1976. Logic suggests that is highly unlikely. Of course, Bush has a company duty to deny being in the CIA. The CIA is a secret organization. No one ever admits to being a member. The truth is that Bush has been a top CIA official since before the 1961 invasion of Cuba, working with Felix Rodriguez. Bush may deny his actual role in the CIA in 1959, but there are records in the Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba that expose Bush’s role..." On the Watergate tapes, June 23, 1972, referred to in the media as the ’smoking gun’ conversation, Nixon and his Chief of Staff, H.R. Haldeman, were discussing how to stop the FBI investigation into the CIA Watergate burglary. They were worried that the investigation would expose their connection to ’the Bay of Pigs thing.’ Haldeman, in his book "The Ends of Power", reveals that Nixon always used code words when talking about the 1963 murder of JFK. Haldeman said Nixon would always refer to the assassination as ’the Bay of Pigs’.

On that transcript we find Nixon discussing the role of George Bush’s partner, Robert Mosbacher, as one of the Texas fundraisers for Nixon. On the tapes Nixon keeps referring to the ’Cubans’ and the ’Texans.’ The ’Texans’ were Bush, Mosbacher and Baker. This is another direct link between Bush and evidence linking Nixon and Bush to the Kennedy assassination."

You ready to take these guys on?

THAT is what you are up against.

This is academic research from scholars at the Hoover Institute. Hardly crackpot conspiracy theorists. This is ALL DOCUMENTED.

It is time to wake up and take back America, but in many ways we never really had America. These guys have always had it from almost day one. In many ways they founded America.

Basically, America became the way it is to create a governing system that these elite rich guys could control and manipulate with money. America is "buyable" with large amounts of money precisely because we don't have a king. A king could not be bought. A salaried member of Congress, yes. A judge, yes. A president, yes. A general, yes. Everyone else, yes. But a king, no.

It was set up as a de facto oligarchy from the get-go in the name of democracy, but really owned by big money. The electoral college trick shows they had no real intention of delivering real democratic powers. Only enough to make a show and befool the masses. What you see is a group of pirate drug smugglers who wanted this place for their own and didn't want to share the spoils of their adventures in China (selling the crack of those days) with European powers. So they formed secret societies to consolidate and pass on their power and profits through their families. That is what America always has been. Nothing more or less. The German influence quickly came and took over as you can see.

This is why no one has really been able to do anything till now. The secrecy has hidden all this. Without the Internet you also wouldn't know.

Skull & Bones Society

"America’s Secret Establishment", by Antony C. Sutton, 1986, page 5-6, states: "Those on the inside know it as The Order. Others have known it for more than 150 years as Chapter 322 of a German secret society. More formally, for legal purposes, The Order was incorporated as The Russell Trust in 1856. It was also once known as the "Brotherhood of Death". Those who make light of it, or want to make fun of it, call it ’Skull & Bones’, or just plain ’Bones’.

The American chapter of this German order was founded in 1833 at Yale University by General William Huntington Russell and Alphonso Taft who, in 1876, became Secretary of War in the Grant Administration. Alphonso Taft was the father of William Howard Taft, the only man to be both President and Chief Justice of the United States.

The order is not just another Greek letter fraternal society with passwords and handgrips common to most campuses. Chapter 322 is a secret society whose members are sworn to silence. It only exists on the Yale campus (that we know about). It has rules. It has ceremonial rites. It is not at all happy with prying, probing citizens - known among initiates as ’outsiders’ or ’vandals’. Its members always deny membership (or are supposed to deny membership) and in checking hundreds of autobiographical listings for members we found only half a dozen who cited an affiliation with Skull & Bones. The rest were silent. An interesting point is whether the many members in various Administrations or who hold government positions have declared their members in the biographical data supplied for FBI ’background checks’.

Above all, The Order is powerful, unbelievably powerful. If the reader will persist and examine the evidence to be presented - which is overwhelming - there is no doubt his view of the world will suddenly come sharply into focus, with almost frightening clarity.

It is a Senior year society which exists only at Yale. Members are chosen in their Junior year and spend only one year on campus, the Senior year, with Skull & Bones. In other words, the organization is oriented to the graduate outside world. The Order meets annually - patriarchies only - on Deer Island in the St. Lawrence River.

Senior societies are unique to Yale. There are two other senior societies at Yale, but none elsewhere. Scroll & Key and Wolf’s Head are supposedly competitive societies founded in the mid-19th century. We believe these to be part of the same network. Rosenbaum commented in his "Esquire" article, very accurately, that anyone in the Eastern Liberal Establishment who is not a member of Skull & Bones is almost certainly a member of either Scroll & Key or Wolf’s Head. .. The selection procedure for new members of The Order has not changed since 1832. Each year 15, and only 15, never fewer, are selected. In the past 150 years about 2500 Yale graduates have been initiated into The Order. At any time about 500-600 are alive and active. Roughly about one- quarter of these take an active role in furthering the objectives of The Order. The others either lose interest or change their minds. They are silent dropouts.

.. The most likely potential member is from a Bones family, who is energetic, resourceful, political and probably an amoral team player. ... Honors and financial rewards are guaranteed by the power of The Order. But the price of these honors and rewards is sacrifice to the common goal, the goal of The Order. Some, perhaps many, have not been willing to pay this price. The Old Line American families and their descendants involved in the Skull & Bones are names such as: Whitney, Perkins, Stimson, Taft, Wadsworth, Gilman, Payne, Davidson, Pillsbury, Sloane, Weyerhaeuser, Harriman, Rockefeller, Lord, Brown, Bundy, Bush and Phelps. For a complete and accurate discussion of the Skull & Bones Society and the secret shadow government in control of this nation, you should read American Secret Establishment, by Antony C. Sutton.
