Forum Post: Repeal CFMA

It is way past time to repeal the "Commodity Futures Modernization Act" and to increase the regulation . Over the years we have seen regulations on markets slowly disappear one by one as corporations lobbied Congress. The recent pseudo regulations imposed by Congress after the financial meltdown do little if anything to control runaway corporations. The founding fathers of the United States understood clearly that an unbridled free market was harmful to the consumer; it is why the power to regulate commerce was added to the Constitution. It is time that we stop sitting passively by hoping that things will get better; they won't.
