Everyone who is of voting age and eligible to vote, needs to REGISTER and VOTE! When we start recalling these awful congressmen, then they will listen. OWS has to include a push to get people registered and then strongly encouraged to VOTE.
If we keep electing people who are "politicians", nothing is going to change. We need a REAL person to be in office. Not a millionaire, not a career politian, NOT someone who worked for Monsanto... just average, common-sense Americans who love their country and want to serve. On top of that, it MUST be separated from money! There must be free ad time on TV, NO LOBBYING, no donations for ads. What if the billions of dollars wasted on smear campaign ads went into feeding our hungry children? There would be no poverty!
Might I add, register for a party, and vote in their primary.
Political parties have open enrollment; anyone can enter one and vote for the least worst candidate. You don't have to give the crappy parties any support, but you can do a little bit to fight the professional trolls within, and it's only one more side-trip per election season.
