1)By being a leaderless movement, ows implies that it has no organization; lack of organization implies lack of credibility. Get credibility...get organized...get leadership. 2)By being non-political, ows misses the target. Wall Street is a symptom, not the disease. The disease is the politics which enables Wall Street to exist in the first place. Target the disease...occupy Washington D.C., not Wall Street. The Arabspring movement is about corrupt politics. 3)If ows wants to prove that it has power on Wall Street, do something to display that power...BOYCOTT FACEBOOK!
You bring up points that are obviously the subject of immense debate, but let's look at the Egyptian situation for a moment & wonder how much they really accomplished by focusing on temporal politics? Now their two choices are a Muslim Brotherhood candidate, or some crony from the previous administration (supported by the military).
That's what happens when you think you can change the world from the top down.

I guess so .... looks like they have the worse of both worlds. I mean, I guess you could say democratization is a gradual progression, but that obviously assumes the trajectory is moving in the right direction (even if only slightly).
