Bay Area writer Susan Gluss proposed a realistic course of action for the Occupy Movement in today's Insight opinion page in Sunday's San Francisco Chronicle. Worth reading at http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/artlist.cgi?key=IN&directory=/c/a/2011/11/13.

yes but... the Streets are important, if only symbolically. And as far as "reducing" or simplifying "the message" to the economy... isn't that playing into the hands of the status qua? OWS is about more than "the economy"... it's about human life... that is to say, the possible forms and options humans have for living. We need creative thinking and creative ACTION. Not ANOTHER political .org. Whose streets...? whose world...? whose lives...?

Sorry, it appears this article appears in the print edition of the SF Chronicle, and won't be available online until Monday. I'll re-post then.
