There is no "us", there is no "them". There is no "99%" or "1%". There are only human beings. Recognize this. Acknowledge this. Absorb this. Reflect on this.
Then move forward with your protests, with this engraved in your mind. You are all hard working people So are the corporate CEOs and executives that you fight against. They may dehumanize you when they cluster you as a statistic. You are doing the same to them.
There is no easy solution to the problems that you face. If you continue to act as if there is one, and worse yet if you succeed in your goals such as they are, you will undo everything that makes this country good and great.
I agree, and I think that all of us should watch this so we can understand better and formulate a plan of action that is based out of treating the root causes of these issues:

No CEO is worth $7000 + per minute! Everyone works hard. What people want is fairness.
What we need to aim for is world wide legislation that gives shareholders a direct vote in executive remuneration. It would be great to have worldwide restrictions on executive wages - something like no one in the company can earn or be rewarded in any way more than 20 times that given to the lowest paid worker or contractor in that company.
Exactly, but many more people will come to your side when you are proactive (for “new” Business & Government solutions), instead of reactive (against “old” Business & Government solutions), which is why what we most immediately need is a comprehensive “new” strategy that implements all our various socioeconomic demands at the same time, regardless of party, and although I'm all in favor of taking down today's ineffective and inefficient Top 10% Management System of Business & Government, there's only one way to do it – by fighting bankers as bankers ourselves; that is, using a Focused Direct Democracy organized according to our current Occupations & Generations. Therefore, any Candidate (or Leader) therein, regardless of party, is a straw man, a puppet; it's the STRATEGY – the sequence of steps – that the people organize themselves under, in Military Internet Formation of their Individual Purchasing & Group Investment Power, that's important. Sequence is key.
Why? Because there are Natural Social Laws – in mathematical sequence – that are just like Natural Physical Laws, such as the Law of Gravity. You must follow those Natural Social Laws or the result will be Injustice, War, etc.
The FIRST step in Natural Social Law is to CONTROL the Banks as Bank Owner-Voters. If you do not, you will inevitably be UNJUSTLY EXPLOITED by the Top 10% Management Group of Business & Government who have a Legitimate Profit Motive, just like you, to do so.
Consequently, you have no choice but to become Candidates (or Leaders) yourselves as Bank Owner-Voters according to your current Occupation & Generation.
