What kind of Occupy movement is this that is silent when Congress passes a bill that slashes funding for the most vulnerable populations in this country? Where is your resistance when it's needed? While you are addressing a thousand different issues and bickering over matters of process when educational funding has been terminated for our children? Not to mention daycare, food inspections, housing for veterans, meals for senior citizens.... I can't believe I have not read ONE posting related to the cuts. Why did you make such a show of marching back in 2011, to protest corporate greed, if you're going to sit back and do nothing now? You are such a big disappointment. NOW is time for unity and action. Wake up, people, and get your priorities straight.

The U.S. populace is in general self-centered. 401(k)'s balances came back. House prices turned back up. The old borrow-and-spend happy days can now resume until the people get hit by 'right-sizing' with a meat cleaver. Chop, chop, the percentage is met. Then sequestration will become a word imbued with non-ignorable meaning -- the meat cleaver cannot really be 'sequestered'.

We have the government that we deserve, don't we? After all, we pulled the levers to express our choices, didn't we? We are now experiencing the effects of the 'Jedi mind-meld' of Darth Vader. May the Force be with you. Live long and prosper!

And how many actions have you put together the last 4 years? Feel free to start leading. And if you have been, then you need to realize what has happened since September 2011. The bell curve is a bitch, and this one was really short.
