Prostitution, drugs and guns are already all over the place.

It is purely thanks to the prohibition of prostitution and drugs that criminals are so well financed that they keep huge caches of guns to protect their ill-gotten profits and territory.

If drugs and prostitution were legal criminals would have a couple of hundred BILLION less a year to buy guns with.

If heroin were medically regulated and prescribed at rational prices addicts would have no reason to seek out children to get addicted and turn into new customers.

I hate Ron Paul but I do hope that he survives in the primaries long enough to force this vitally important discussion about the failed prohibition of drugs and prostitution into the national discourse.

Get your family off the street corners and that will put a huge dent in any perceived problem.

War on Drugs - Subsidy for Crime

The War on Drugs is a $141-billion a year tax free subsidy program from crime and addiction.

Addicts sell more drugs to children than doctors and dispensaries would under a regulated prescription program.

Street corner gangsters sell more drugs to children than responsible regulated and licensed adult supervised retail outlets would.

Gangsters and addicts have a vested economic interest in selling more drugs to children.

Regulated and licensed adult supervised outlets would have a license and community standing to protect to dissuade them from selling to children.

The War on Drugs spreads more drugs to children that a regulated, licensed and taxed adult supervised market would.

When you support the War on Drugs you support the unregulated tax free sale of unsafe drugs to children!

Prostitution and Drugs will lose their profit motive if they are legalized. Have a look at the damage the Bankster-run illicit drug industry had done in the US of A. Ron Paul cannot single-handedly change any of these laws. But the very fact that he challenges their wisdom is reason enough to support him.

Terry Reed explains the philosophy of legalization in this video:

ronPaul won't legalize drugs!

Don't be fooled by Ron Paul's intentionally misleading rhetoric.

Ron Paul opposes the federal Drug War but he would have no problem if, under libertarian states rights doctrine, all of the states castrated pot smokers and beheaded addicts.

RP has no chance in hell to win. He knows this. He thinks he has a slim chance but a chance nonetheless. He isn't going anywhere and his policies will fade with him as they have faded before in his previous attempts.

Am I being censored?

[-] 0 points by owsinlove (83) 12 years ago

I watched a hour of CNN, I only saw one picture of him in an hour discussion. He wasn't even mentioned. Is he invisible or what? I'm thinking that if the establishment won't acknowledge him maybe it is time I change horses.

Vote Ron Paul!

You do realize that adding prostitution and currently illegal drug sales to GDP will skyrocket it right?

[-] 0 points by owsinlove (83) 12 years ago

I may be naive but isn't this the same argument that gambling creates jobs... Not that I am against women selling their bodies for minimum wage, certainly would make me happy and create jobs. Also note drug sales and prostitution are already part of the economy just not counted because they are illegal. Just under Ron Paul they will be a thirty foot billboard advertising them and radio ads. Well anyway what are going to do with all this new found freedom.

[-] 0 points by owsinlove (83) 12 years ago

Wait there would be no minimum wage under Ron Paul better yet.

The fact that women will be starving will help them keep their weight down win-win.

Country will fall into an ubercapitalistic anarchy. There won't be anything you can't buy or sell.

[-] 1 points by warbles (164) 12 years ago

I know, right? People will be able to freely and fairly commit trade with each other. Sounds like a recipe for DISASTER!

Hey Obama bot, read ur constitution. He will let the states decide.

Which means that prostitution will be illegal in most states, guns will ALWAYS be legal because its UR RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS and the same with drugs.

Stop being an ignorant and read ur CONSTITUION...even a canadian knows more about U.S history them you!

[-] 2 points by shoozTroll (17632) 12 years ago

For the purpose of maintaining a well regulated militia.

Perhaps you should read it.

[-] 0 points by Misfit138 (172) 12 years ago

Perhaps you should read the federalist papers. In them, the Founding Fathers clearly spell out what the militia is; the people are the militia and therefore, the people will not have their right to bear arms infringed upon.

[-] 2 points by shoozTroll (17632) 12 years ago

You mean how they were trying to avoid a standing army?

We've had one for quite a while now.

They needed one to defeat the savages and take their land.

It seems the militia were poorly trained and equipped, for that purpose.

Welcome to Dodge City, leave your guns at the Marshall's office.
