Press TV: Are Israeli-American Mobsters Buying America’s Government?
Yesterday a window opened, one quickly closing. Major newspapers and news outlets including the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Reuters and others announced and the billionaire gambling “magnate,” some call him “mob boss” who runs gambling from Las Vegas to China where he is fighting bribery charges, is facing a major criminal investigation.
Billionaire Sheldon Adelson’s goal is to buy an American attack on Iran by using money now tied to a criminal investigation to buy extremist candidate Mitt Romney the presidency.
Adelson, who has given hundreds of millions of dollars to pro-Israel candidates and personally financed groups pushing for war with Iran has now had his “organization” tied directly to organized crime.
Thus the flow of money from financial crimes, gambling, prostitution and economic blackmail continues to flow into America’s “pro-Israeli” right. However, a closer examination of the “right” shows them to be oil companies, the arms industry and a series of financial institutions seeking relief from controls and investigations that threaten their further attacks on America and the world’s currencies.
Today, news organizations around the world are “cleansing” their publications of reports of Adelson’s criminal associates. The reason? Hundreds of millions of dollars already donated over the years would have to be returned, all deemed “illegal campaign contributions,” and subjecting everyone from Michelle Bachman and Sarah Palin to the entire GOP including Mitt Romney to criminal prosecution for violation of election laws.
As soon as the big players in the organised criminal world realised that the big money is in politics and banking, that's where they all headed.
White collar crime, meaning suits and ties and buying judges, and smiling while you sink the knife in, is what makes America such an appealing venue for the criminal minds from lots of other nations.
The fact that most Americans really don't give a shit about what is happening to their own country only adds to that appeal.
You'd be surprised at just how much of your infrastructure is owned and operated by Islamic Arabs. It matters little to congress, when they are all allowed to profit from endless war.
The trick is, to keep the lower end of the workforce unstable, so that many people simply have no option, but to join the military, or starve.
Adelson is ready to spend up to $100 million in anti Obama ads. The media would not want that to be put at any risk. For that self centered business reason alone they are not likely to help put the spotlight on Adelson's legal problems. These problems might reach a point where they can't be muffled any more. Beauty......just..beauty. Humanity is so beautiful. Humanity is being taken from us by a small number of inhumane people right now, and we need to remind ourselves of the beauty around us as often as possible to balance out the ugliness of those few people, and be ever conscious of the freedom we stand to lose. Crepuscular rays is something I read in a poem years ago and I've never been able to find that poem but I remember how I smiled when I learned what crepuscular rays were. Thanks for asking "gn"

The poem I remember is called "The Biker". It was about a boy riding his bike through a forest path. I've searched in vain for it.
The poem you found below is strangely fitting for OWS though. If you can ignore the note from the author below it, that is.
Of course, I can think of worse ways to spend an afternoon than being stoned and hallucinating while having sex under crepuscular rays. In fact, I think if the global ruling elite did this on a regular basis, our world would not be in the mess its in. Make 'them' more "humane" so to speak !!
