You know Greenspan got put in charge of the fed in 1987 he was the guy that was the architect of this crisis. Reagan, Bush, Clinton &, Bush2 all relied on him for economic advice and what Greenspan did was deregulate deregulate deregulate and increase the use of leverage. This made Greenspan look good because it temporarily increased the money flow, but every move put more and more risk in the system. finally the house of cards fell apart and Obama got stuck with the mess. sadly he put the same gang of ex Goldman execs in charge of getting us out of a complete breakdown. Really we had a weird dictator running our banking system for 30 years that's what needs to change. There's a few people willing to take this on --left wing Liz Warren, Russ Feingold and oddly far right R Paul. Obama's move is a great start I'd love to see the 3 folks above make a good showing this year --R P to radical for pres but a great addition to the dialogue. Corporate raider Romney would be useless.

It's true...voting is a hopeless endeavor...As far as the "Federal" "Reserve" is concerned...It needs to be nationalized...Everything went nuts when we went off the gold standard..(Bretton Woods)...It gave these a-holes the ability to print like MAD..
