Wall street has been allowed to buy politicians for too long. Please sign this petition - any that get 5K signatures will be addressed by Obama: http://wh.gov/gse. Make them explain why corporations buying candidates is not bribery!!

You self absorbed wall street weiners need to recognize that this is not about corporations as much as it is about government. Big corporations and banks are dictating government policies in their own best interest rather than the interest of the people at large. Corporations are not interested in freedom, or liberty, only profit. Profit is fine, but government should act in the interest of the people at large. Currently, the people at large are being denied collective bargaining rights, and are being subjected to financial tyranny by the banking system which relies heavily on debt of the average citizen to finance itself. They use those profits to buy politicians and maintain the status quo in which they live (very, very, well) on the interest payments of the average citizen who is in a perpetual state of debt to the bank. Also, government and wall street understand that WAR is a quick way to make a buck off of the average tax payer and so we have been placed into a perpetual state of WAR which now has put our government into the same situation as the average citizen. Our government is now beholden to the Chinese who have bought and paid for our two, decade long, WARS in the same way the average citizen is beholden to the bank. In ancient times, it was illegal to extend debt and charge interest, it was (and still is) called usury. What is frightening is that government has been caught up in this usury and can barely fund the interest payments on its own debt. The solution, erase individual debt, ban government from incurring foreign debt, then ban corporate contributions to government employees, political candidates and elected officials. Our government officials should only be beholden to WE THE PEOPLE of the United States.

One day, a trader on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, Adam Sarzen, a decade or so older than many of the protesters, came to Zuccotti Park seemingly just to shake his head. “Look at these kids, sitting here with their Apple computers,” he said. “Apple, one of the biggest monopolies in the world. It trades at $400 a share. Do they even know that?”
