Our government is controlled by criminal syndicates. The trillions in drug profits goes many places including the money laundering superbanks. The lesson learned from Prohibition is that in order to keep profits up, the substances have to stay illegal. The Drug War is window dressing and a fraud.

That MMJ research is not going full force is a crime against humanity. In 1974, the government proved that marijuana can be effective against certain cancers, so they buried the result.

Decriminalizing marijuana is one of the sleeper issues of our time, OWS needs to get on board. The government's position on marijuana is a great "tell" of its true nature.

there is some good work being done in Spain, but the US leads in research so without work being done here a lot is left undone, it looks like the feds are going to lay off WA and CO

Did you create an account 1st? You have to do that and then sign in to be able to sign a petition on that site.

I have had several accounts since they started in 08 or 09. And I diligently tried to open a new one, but it didn't take. Said it was broken or under repair. I'll try again later.

thanks for the effort, part of why I put this up was to let people know where the site was and encourage others to write some...

When that service first came out I thought I'd be all over it, but I never got around to it. Thanks for posting it, please keep reminding us.

Right after the election they canceled my local Progressive Radio and replaced it with Fox Sports, next month they are canceling the Seattle Progressive Radio AM 1090. They are going after our info, and believe me, I used to be an NPR addict, without Progressive Radio, we will only have the internet for real information. Swear to Darwin, I just heard the other day on NPR that it was Little Richards F-ing birthday, the last time I heard that was the day I switched from NPR to Air America when it first came out in 2003 or 4. Jeebuzz!

Did they find your crazy Gov yet?

She was in the war zone, they never talk about those visits till their over, I guess my Sec. of State joke wasn't that far off.

I have a twitter that feeds me some good links and I use Google news for all my info these days, also a couple of Facebook people like "being liberal".

I have also volunteered for years for the party, till Obama extended the Bush tax cuts, I got my limits, but I do what I can here, anyway a few party people still send me stuff, some of it is good.

I guess if she doesn't use them Gov miles she loses them.

Google News? You mean headlines? Try AM1090: http://betaplayer.radio.com/player/progressive-1090-kptk, it will be gone next month. Randi Rhodes just played a hilarious skit: http://www.randirhodes.com/main.html, to much good stuff to parse it out, you'll find it, it's one of "Duffy's" productions.

I think I saw Being Liberal on this site: http://republicandirtytricks.com/

The party is tooooooooo conservative for me, OR I'm too leftist. Have you tried Drinking Liberally??

Mother Jones and The Nation I follow them on twitter so there's a far amount of stuff flowing through, the thing I like about Google is the way it bumps stories that are read, so I will find out about something and go there to read it just to give it my little bump I know it's not much, but that's how I see the whole thing working people doing their little bits.

So you mean the G headlines?

[-] 0 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

yes I will look there then do G news search if I don't see what I'm looking for on the front page to find it then I clink, by clicking through there I "promote" that story, I try to bump good stories there all the time, I see stuff here then go there and search just to bump it

Sorry, I get it.

The thing about Progressive Radio is they do all that for you, and much MUCH more!!

[-] 0 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

oh sure you should follow Randi she's a good source

[-] 0 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

Awesome source! You'd have to scour the net all day and night to put together her daily offerings. But she's only 3 hours, there's several more. Put them all together and all you have to do is... is... act, unite, spread the word! You don't get much of this on MSM, NPR, PBS, certainly not Fox.

And so they are taking it away.
