The spammers are being paid to spam, to drive people away from the site premanently. And the fact that OWS.org isn't stopping them might give you a clue as to who's side they're really on (not the 99%'s).

You're probably wondering. If these guys were right and the wealth was heavily concentrated just prior to the Great Depression, how did we recover?
That's simple but not well known. There was a partial redistribution from the mid '30's to the mid '70's.
So why are we in this mess all over again?
It's the same problem. Relatively simple.

The incomes of the top one percent of the wage scale in the U.S. rose in 2010; and their collective wage earnings jumped by $120 billion. In addition, those earning at least $1 million a year in wages, which is roughly 93,000 Americans, reported payroll income jumped 22 percent from 2009
All that progress made after the Great Depression has been reversed over the last 35 years. The richest one percent now own over 43% of America's financial wealth. That's way too much. Its causing hardship for ordinary (decent) people and economic instability. But the rich refuse to accept any responsibility. They are never satisfied. They always want more. They absolutely will not stop.
It's very similar in Europe. The rich are too rich. Period.

Search the AM dial day and night for local call in talk radio shows. There are dozens of them. Call in and be heard by thousands at once. Its easy. I've done it over 800 times. Just don't bother with Limbaugh, Hanity, Levin, Beck, Ingraham, Savage, Doyle, Harley, Mcnamera, Bortz, or Bruce. Those guys are a waste of time. The others are ok. You are welcome to use anything I post. The quotes and statistics are accurate.

There's only two possibilities. They moderators either 'can't' or 'won't'. The fact that they have not posted an announcement that says "we are aware of the problem and haven't been able to do anything about it, but are working on it", really says that it falls into the 'won't category.
We have been trying, the moderators are off on Holiday,,, it will clean up again tomorrow....there are more of them then us we cant handle it
I got a notice that you commented on my ....now for something completely different. Post about 50 minutes ago. The last post also showed a comment, but nothing was, and it said 0 comments. No problem unless it's a troll problem. I usually get 0 comments..hmnnn

I told you we are working our own way to defend against the spammers. I deface their posts, downgrade their stats, then open yours upgrade and you don't see the comment but get bumped up on the list.
There are 2 of us out here trying to help, I simply dont want to fill up posts for nothing, just to bump them up, the credible posts get bumped up, and the others get pushed down.
I am trying to help, you may see that I comment , but nothing is there - trust me it is helping
I was told by another member you were targeting a certain post of mine, the one I kept getting your notices to deleted messages, the one that describes your misdeeds, now it is go.
I hate you guys are doing housekeeping chores rather than speaking, but that's pretty much what real leaders do: The press knows that too, even if the public thinks the opposite. Thanks.

It is a programming trick.. We are not trying to hurt anyone, BlueRose and others have turned on me and Thrasymaque...
If we do nothing, the entire list floods with pages of TV watching, etc as does the recent list.
We clean up the Forum list, and the top comment list and flush the rest, we are bupming up, defacing, collecting the bad stuff to flush it in one shot with the responses that like the other posts. You may get message of reply and there is none. Go back to forum list, and see the TV stuff is gone and the normal threads take the lead. No, I believe they bump spam and also trigger certain good posts to be considered spam or conspiracy or somehow falling outside guidelines with answers they delete. I think you and Ropeknot are also the spammers.
Watch what happens when Thras says he runs another bump.
