We need to petition the Obama Administration to veto Protesting being considered "low level terrorism" in Department of Defense manuals! We need signatures! This link is the official petition.
Starting January 1st 2012 you will be most likely carted off to as a "Domestic Terrorist". Notice they have passed the National Defense Authorization Act "NDAA" and now we can be carted off without due process because of this crap. We don't have any rights to do anything except work and die. If you do or speak out you most likely will be arrested as long as we aren't united. Do not protest by yourself anymore. Protest loud protest proud and protest together. If they try to arrest you I am sorry, jut be prepared not to be seen or heard from again it seems after the new year. Stay Strong

Thank you. Wow, I am a terrorist because I support this movement? I never broke the law and I do not engage in violence--so how am I a terrorist? How is OWS and The Tea party, or any other movement terrorists--so protesting and activism is a form of terrorism--just how paranoid is our Government?

The British considered the Fathers of our Nation to be common thugs, riff-raff, etc. The word "terrorist" did not exist at the time. If it had, you can be sure that George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison would have been at the very top of the "domestic terrorist list"!
OWS are the Great Patriots of today. Make no mistake, the road ahead will be bumpy and there will probably be martyrs. But they cannot kill or jail us ALL. Thanks to Occupy, we shall kick out our oppressors just as our forefathers kicked out the British in 1776.

With the near passage of NDAA, we all need to prepare ourselves for what is to come. What your mentioned will happen I am afraid. We all must stay strong and focused in this dark hour. The fear-mongerering will be out of control after NDAA becomes law. There will be lots of panic and chaos. Nothing good comes out of panic and chaos. So we must stay calm and focused.

Fortunately, we have matured as a nation since the McCarthy era and so I think this insane tactic on the part of the 1% will actually BACKFIRE IN THE END and make the Occupy Movement much stronger.
But in the meantime, it's not impossible that they will jail or even kill some of us. But our sacrifice will NOT be in vain. I'm reminded of Jefferson's words to the effect that “the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots". Our 3rd President had a deep dislike for the Church but a profound admiration for the historical Jesus, and was wont to quote his famous words: "BE NOT AFRAID OF THOSE WHO CAN ONLY KILL YOUR BODY: THEY CANNOT TOUCH YOUR SOUL".

Yes, I think it will backfire, too. They are really pushing the envelope here. Also, people will suffer under the NDAA law. I was thinking today, you know how there is a "I am being arrested app". Well, there should be something for those about to be arrested under NDAA and The Patriot ACT. Get the word out to everyone before you get arrested. Hit a button and let 100's of people know. I know that may be crazy, but we are living in a very crazy age.
If you see military police at your door, go to the app and hit the button.
That's not "crazy" at all - in fact, it's COMMON SENSE, plain and simple.
False "evidence" will be fabricated and people will get arrested and may not have a right to a lawyer or even a trial! So it's essential that everyone talk to their loved ones - and to ACLU! - and have some sort of action plan in case they should suddenly "disappear".
That's not paranoia, that's just common sense and caring enough for the Movement and for your loved ones.
Yes, we must prepare ourselves.
Please check this link out it's from the Judge from Freedom Watch (the only show I watch on Fox). He is a constitutional judge and has been sounding the alarm for the longest time. Also, to my knowledge he never said anything really bad about his movement, if he did, I wouldn't be listening to him.

Thank you for the sources. The possibility of domestic terrorists can increase the paranoia among us. Paranoia is defined as a state of unfounded fear. Any government is obligated to protect its citizens. Paranoid citizens will inspire government agents to exercise indiscriminate and unreasonable force. The Reign of Terror during the French Revolution, the Cultural Revolution of China, and the Gulags under Stalin were all government responses to paranoia within the population. And yes, the actions of the governments increased the paranoia. The feedback was positive. The best thing that we can do to prevent an out-of-control government is to keep our heads.
I agree with you 100%. To be steadfast in the midst of fear is a virtue we all need right now.
