Hey ZM, there is a question that has plagued me in regards to a resource based economy: how will finite goods and services be distributed? Things like choice bits of real-estate (top floor, ocean view, lake side etc), and original works of art such as paintings and sculptures (presuming that duplicates could be made for everyone) will be finite and likely in high demand. How would these kind of things be addressed in a resource based economy?

With all the questions on the movement's direction and in-depth discussions on monetary system alternatives flying around, how is this proposed partnership being ignored?

What gives everyone? You have loud opinions on everything else, why so silent here?

OWS currently suffers, like the rest of the country, from a lack of leadership. I welcome a solid concise plan that will help us all in the short term and long term. Although Joseph is scholarly and long winded at times, I welcome his leadership if he is up to the task. It's a tough job.

Great to hear Peter Joseph's voice in regards to the OWS movement.

I agree that the targeting of the financial system shows an amazing new awareness by the people. I hope that the Occupy movement welcomes this important voice.

Apologies, I meant no conspiracy theory implications ZM.

Suffice it to say that Peter Joseph would be the face of the Movement to the media (public at large) if only due to his films, not because of a top-down leadership role. I was merely framing the post in the context of the common criticisms that arise when a perceived outside agenda suggests a solution.

The consensus seems to support a long term sustainable solution over short term remedy, but I have yet to hear anything that approaches the scale and society ideal of the Zeitgeist Movement. It does appear that they are slowly coming to the same conclusions though...

I wonder if combining the two movements to begin the process laid out in the video will provide critical mass or solidify opposition. I imagine both, first one and then the other. :)

Leaderless Occupy Movement meet Leader of Zeitgeist Movement.

I wonder, can the two coexist without the former being co-opted? Perhaps this is just the direction we need. A solid plan amidst a sea of ideas that fail to reach a consensus.
