I am just 12 years old and I am inspired by this group and so I think we can change the world. It is just appalling how the police would shoot someone in the head. What is more appalling is how he was shot again when people were just trying to help Scott - who could have hurt all of the helpers plus Scott. What I think of our economy is that it is going down hill. Remember when Martin Luther King protested for Civil Rights, he made the world so much a better place for all of us to live in. We can end this easily; we just have to try harder and the 1% stop being greedy.

HI Mary: With the support from people like you. I also think we can make this world a better place. This movement, for the freedom of the world, would not have been possible, without the teachings of that marvelous man MLK.

There was a group who met in 1774 to endorse a document called the Suffolk Resolves. Do you think this group, OWS99% should do the same thing?

and the 1% stop being greedy

If they stop being greedy, their competition will take their place. That's how the system works.

Perhaps we need a system where actual merit is rewarded more so than greed??

I find it strange you suggest "greed" is the sole attribute of success. Even I'm not that cynical about the 1%.

Or we can abandon the system that's based on extrinsic motivation and relay on our inherent Intrinsic motivation which also rewards the merit.

Honey, it's people who want other people to pay for their stuff that are greedy. Think it through.

Not to be a buzzkill but are you actually inspired? Or are you just caught up in the feel good momentum of the moment? You say you feel the economy is going downhill, but can you cite why? Do you know how banks work? Do you have any concept of economics? Or is it just your "feeling" based off of propaganda from one side or the other?

you should wait to support a side until you have learned enough and actually participated in the economy. Wait until you have played your cards into the game and see how each side would affect you.
