Drugs and alcohol were discussed at the General Assembly the other day, and one of the people speaking made a very good statement saying that "We don't want drugs or alcohol here, not Drug Addicts or Alcoholics." Drug addicts, alcoholics, or those that use them every so often are part of those marginalized in society. In Occupy Wall Street, they are not. Occupy Wall Street's Medics will help if they need it, without judgement, and we, the Occupied will gladly offer our love and support to help you through it. However, the usage of such cannot happen within the Occupied area for reasons of preservation for our cause, not reasons of discrimination against the use. Some Police Officers surrounding the area are looking for any reason to break it up. Media and Corporations, as well as governmental figures are looking for any way to disband us. We are not wanted here. We are feared here, because of our potential to create change. Drugs and alcohol could (and have for other Occupations) corroded and led to the destruction of the Occupation itself. It gives "probable cause" to police and allows them to infiltrate and harm us, as well as legally disband us. THIS CANNOT HAPPEN. For those of us that wish to do these things, all we ask is that you do not do them within the occupation, so that the occupation can live on and our cause, OUR MOVEMENT can stay on the right path. For those of you that see it happen, do not approach the situation aggressively, and be sure to explain the reasons to them. Make sure they know you care for them. if they have joined the movement, they should understand why it is so important to keep the police out and the peace within.

Now, I understand that things will be hard. At times our spirits will fall. We will be afraid we will not prevail. I say that we should tell everyone we see within and outside the occupation that we love them, and we appreciate them. "I'm loving you" and "I appreciate you" accompanied by a simple hug are so powerful no matter their simplicity. They are often the encouragement one needs to refuel them. It creates a vibe in the air of unity. For those outside of the Occupation, it shows them they they are not ousted. They are us, and we are them. I met a medic that had stayed up for us for 36 hours, and I marched with him to the indigenous gathering. i told him that I appreciated him, and I watched his eyes swell up with tears and appreciation. he said Thank You, and I could tell his spirits rose. Another Medic named Ed, I said the same thing to, we hugged, and he told me that as long as I stayed believing in this, he wasn't leaving, and we going to keep it going. So simple an act, so massive a result.

So, I say to you all: I love you. Keep it up... you ARE appreciated and your existence matters. WE WILL bring change, and this road though long and probably hard is the most important road we will ever take, because it is the one that leads us to the sun, to life and to salvation. It leads us to the future, and it is our spiritual awakening. In this, we are immortalized, and in this- life is captured. Love each other, stick together. help wherever you can. Do not be discouraged. Allow the drum beat to be your heart beat. Use your voice and don't be afraid to be. Together, we are the strongest fabric ever knitted, and as long as we stay in peace, we are unable to be damaged. I will pop in, and I hope to see the "I love you"s and "I appreciate you"s as well as the hugs abound. They will break the walls between us, and capture the unity. In the meantime, I intend to help set up another occupation in Jersey. If anyone would like to help volunteer for food, clothing, medical, media, electronics, library or outreach, please email me. My email at aol is the same as my username here.

"The people united, will never be defeated." Thank you. I love you all.
