I've been pondering for some time now a label or tag for the 1% more expressive of who and what they are. In the wake of the realization that these individuals/corporate entities have so little concern for their fellow citizens that they prefer to spend millions acquiring security staff equivalent to private armies, and millions more sponsoring negative press intended to minimize the ows movement, while simultaneously refusing to create the jobs so necessary to the well being of our people and our nation, I came up with the appropriate acronym f.i.l.t.h. ( looks stupid in lower case but site thought I was yelling ) Financially Irresponsible Liars Thieves and Hoarders. What we are doing is crucial not just for America but for the world as well. As illustrated above, the f.i.l.t.h. are quite committed to the retention of the existing status quo. The very fact that after nearly two months of ows protests, and not so much as a whisper from the f.i.l.t.h. that our issues have value, merit, and should be addressed inclines me to feel that we have all been slapped with the proverbial gauntlet and told by the f.i.l.t.h. " What do you think you can do about it?" I've seen peaceful protests succeed and I applaud the continued efforts to keep things civil. However the time will come when this movement is faced with the uncomfortable reality that alternatives will need to be explored as the f.i.l.t.h. are more than happy to do nothing in response to our protests because they have no motivation to do otherwise. So I say brainstorm people! Lets come up with some ways in which we can hit them hard and make it painful for them to ignore our voices.
Excellent idea! Probably the best one for now. "Filth" is good name for them. And here are some ideas of action. Because words minus action equals zero.
