Forum Post: OWS: Time to own up

I have already posted about my belief that whoever is behind OWS has failed many of the people who are rallied under its banner. As I've posted on my blog, what OWS represents and what many of the protesters want seem to be very different and I don't think most people are aware of it:

I have learned that my post is very specific to OWS itself. Who is it exactly? The claim is that it is "leaderless", but someone is posting on this website as "OccupyWallSt" with calls for action. That is not a leaderless movement.
I don't necessarily expect individuals to reveal themselves, but an organization or two would be nice. At the very least give the people you have rallied so passionately a goal. Give them the respect of knowing what end this is all for. If you seriously don't have an agenda then you owe it to your followers to either provide one or encourage them to come up with it and support it...soon!
The whole movement is losing credibility over its lack of focus. Time for you to step up.
