If you are serious about the movement know that this website has its own agenda. MANY Posts are Deleted daily because it will not profit this site if OWS succeeds. MANY posts that shed light on issues in order to resolve them are Deleted
some are deleted simply because they unarguably bring rationality and organization to our participants, which will eventually bring OWS to a successful end. THIS will put an end to the donations and is the #1 reason.
other posts are deleted simply because they don't want you to know certain facts. in the end this goes back to the primary reason, money.
so. MY posts may have been deleted, many others may have been deleted. but they can't delete whats on our minds and it will spread. and this FALSE support website will fall with the rest of the scamming con artists of the world. WHAT YOU READ HERE DAILY IS BEING CENSORED.
Actually, I am not crazy. I am a facilitator of my local occupation, but I am starting to be upset about the censorship on this forum as well.

I have been scrubbed from this site twice. I may be confrontational but not necessarily disrespectful. They treasure their own Free Speech but do not want to extend that right to those who do not agree with them.
exactly. I imagine the moderators are the type that will burn books, afraid people will wise up, if they ever find their way into power.
I do know that their are "people" on this forum that take names and report them to the moderators, one told me he reported me, but he did apologize later.... but I was scrubbed...
My dad told a story about going to an SDS meeting in the early 70's when he was in school. The faculty advisor cautioned the group about getting into a project that would be successful. He seemed to think organization building was more important then developing a goal and working toward it. The phrase my dad quoted from that advisor was, "success in a bummer, when you get close to your goal they let you succeed and that ruins your organization". Maybe that's what you've stumbled on, organizing and growing is more important then actually working within the system and making changes.
so, protesting just to protest? I've known a few people who would argue for the sheer enjoyment.
I guess he meant that some people thought that organizing was more important that a goal. The kids at the meeting all wanted to get something done. This prof, the advisor, was the one that was pushing for organizing and growing by picking fights you couldn't win and doing what you could to get media attention to attract more followers. As far as arguing goes I like that too sometimes, as long as it doesn't get to be personal attacks.

wow, there really are some great ones. yes a lot of garbage posted but if you keep reading there are some good ones.
I like the limitations on campaign contributions. a MAXIMUM reached, remainder goes to a charity. I also like a set salary for elected officials that is no greater than the average of their constituents. i.e: president earning the national average (about $19/hr last I heard). governors earning state average. IF congress wants a damn raise then get it for everyone in their district! mayors earning the average income of those in their town. THEN we may find people running for office because they TRULY want to serve.
well, there are others, those I really liked. finding ways to end corporate greed? I'm just a bystander so you'd be better hearing from these guys.

h,mnn, yes that would be reasonable, to thin out the sillyness. however I do like the Idea of freedom of speech.
however, I've posted replys that where I only stated " BACON! I Want BACON" and those remain here intact. It was when we started getting deeper into solving some issues is when the moderators became afraid.

Most likely because you bring up conspiracy type scenarios without proof. You probably accuse OWS of stuff that is not true.
I troll like a madman, and not one of my posts was deleted. How many times have I written: vote Ron Paul, not Ron Lawl to show the problem of censorship. How many times have I accused OWS of a lack of transparency for not directly talking about anarchism.

They particularly don't want any information getting out about how the leaders along with the SC are embezzling the donation money for themselves. Anyone ever wonder why there is no real accounting of the donations, other than the little spreadsheet they put out last week? The OWS had raise $500k over a month ago. It is still at $400,000? so either they are not raising any more money, or the people controlling it are stealing it for their own purposes. Do the math.
