How can we possible compete against the buckets of money flowing around freely on Capitol Hill? We can because we have something that all of those lobbyists cannot provide. We have the votes. We can sway elections. We can keep you in office or we can vote you out. That is the ultimate power that we have and it is time that we used it as leverage. I am starting a lobbying organization dedicated to representing the interests of the majority. We will poll our membership to decide what issues we will represent. Those polls will be the only determinant in what issues we take up.
This process will both help us find common interests that we can focus on, and help achieve those goals. We will take all of the polling data to Capitol Hill and force our elected leaders to listen to the interests of the majority or pay the consequence and be replaced by someone who will listen. If you are interested please visit www.lobbydemocracy.com. If you like what you see, please let us know here so that we can rise to the top of the list and others can find us.
