I voted for Hilary in 2008, things would be different if more had. I promote good actions when I come across them - good actions brought forward by good people. I would ask Bernie Sanders to run for the office of president - but I don't think he is interested at this time in his life. Though I could be mistaken.
Also I try to do the things that I am able - looking for candidates - well it is not a strength that I have developed. Some people are really good at forwarding people to be looked at and weighed. Me? I guess I am better at finding and supporting issues or confronting issues.
My Bad.
There are many good people that might be willing to step forward, for elected public service as delegates, if the current dollar-driven twin-party machine was decisively defeated at the 2012 elections. As delegates to an Article V Convention, we need our best and brightest, as well as most independent-minded.
We need to be in shape as a country as a people as a properly run government by of & for the people before we even consider an article V convention. My opinion. We have discussed this before and I believe that you are putting the cart before the horse. Again - My - Opinion.
You do not understand that calling an Article V Convention is an act of desperation? Our desperation? By the people?

There's more to the credit card scam than meets the eye. You, and the masses that are slaves to their plastic, pay a higher price (as we all do. Thanks for that.) for the goods you buy. But trying to convince people to give up their plastic for the 'better good' is a futile endeavor. Carry on being part of the problem instead of the solution.
I am not a slave to "plastic" I use it and keep track of everything that's charged. I know exactly what my bill will be and pay it in full every month. I pay no interest. At the end of the year I get a check from the credit card co. A very nice check.
I know. I've heard that all from other people. You are using your plastic correctly. But the proliferation of plastic has been partially responsible for an increase in the costs of goods. Card issuers dip from both sides of the equation, charging the store 3% to 6% for the "privilege" of using their card. That cost is passed on to us, the consumer. So, on an individual basis, a card can be a good tool, but collectively, it's caused an increase in the cost of goods that we all pay, even those of us that use cash exclusively. So that check you get every year? Part of it came from my pocket.

How time flies. {:-O
It does indeed. I was watching an episode of "Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman" a few weeks back and apparently our perception of time does change with age. To a person in their eighties, time passes by about 2.5 times faster than it does to a person in their teens. And I thought it was just my imagination. Youth is indeed wasted on the young.
Naw they just don't have a frame of reference - plus they have all of that boundless energy - not to worry though - I don't believe the corrupt greedy criminals will let them waste any of it by letting them enjoy their youth - well if we can't stop em anyway.
Time doesn't seem to pass quicker to you nowadays than it did in your youth? It sure does to me. A year seemed like an incredibly long time when I was a kid. Now it feels like about six months, tops. Part of it is a frame of reference, I agree, but I think there's truth to the scientist's claim. At any rate, it's immaterial. Not OWS-related. But I do like to throw out random tidbits now and then to get people's neurons firing, if possible.
Oh I absolutely feel that time has speed-ed up as I have gotten older. Especially after getting past my 50th. Part of it I think has to do with the fullness of the days and weeks spent working that the time goes with out our paying attention to it as we are not appreciating it as much as when we were younger and stronger.
Also I think the reaper gets impatient waiting and starts spinning the clock faster.
