Forum Post: OK, here are the TOP 3 Issues that should be a part of our Message, and why....

First the why. If we choose these things in the beginning no one will be able to point a finger at us and say we are just a bunch of liberals or conservatives, or anything else that already exists because for everyone who is playing the game now, they depend on these things to keep them in power.

1. Tax-payer funded elections. No candidate for any office will be allowed to take donations from anyone. They won't even be able to use their own money. They get one check for a certain amount and they will be audited. In this way the 99% own the politicians instead of whatever corporation or special interest group can shovel the most cash into their coffers.

2. Use non-partisan citizen panels to redraw every legislative district in the country so they are all as close to 50/50 as possible, based on voting in the last presidential election. How much will they hate that? Fair elections? What is this country coming to?

3. Dismantle the Military-Industrial complex. It has always gotten under my skin when a corporation is allowed to make a profit building war machines and accessories, knowing they will make even more money every time the equipment is destroyed and blood is spilled. No corporation can sell anything to the DOD, any government security agency, and so on,..unless they are 'not-for-profit'. That's insane!!!

Nope, it's the future. I want my grand kids to read about us in their history books. It will happen if we stand together and have a clear & coherent message.
