Forum Post: Occupying Occupy Wall Street?

A few friends and I are coming to NYC this weekend to stay for a week and we want to occupy. We're kind of hoping to learn from y'all...hopefully it'll help our local movements (Chicago and Chattanooga).
We're trying to figure out where to stay- originally we were stoked to just bring a tent, some gloves and our coats, but now we don't really know what's going on. I haven't had the internet for a little over 2 weeks, and the last time I checked OWS had been evicted. Before that, from what I could tell, it didn't look like there was enough room fro any more tents.
Is OWS currently occupying? Is there any room for us? Where/when does your GA meet? What can we do to be helpful?
You would be more useful (and productive) if you found a field in a rural area, dug a really big hole, and then filled it back up again.

All the useless crap on this forum and elsewhere in NYCGA and you ask if the Declaration is spam. Unfortunately their main site is doing server upgrades to prepare for voting the delegates.
