OWS should protest CBS and its producers for its greed and lack of respect for its contestants.

CBS and its producers have made hundreds of millions of dollars off the backs of its contestants while still giving its winner only a million dollars.

How much do the other fools get for stabbing their fellow contestants in the back?

A pitiful amount compared to the profits CBS and its producers have made. The contestants go thru the worst living conditions and jump the hoops that it producers created for them while stabbing each other in the back to win 1 million dollars and the title of "Survivor Champion". Even the World Series of Poker has increased its payout to its contestants, but they just sit around a poker table drinking, smoking, eating and having fun playing poker.

"Survivor" is the perfect example of corporate greed and the exploitation of the worker and it needs to have an OWS Intervention" pronto....I would love to see the same kind of people protesting in Oakland relocated outside the doors of CBS and its producers, and even invade the "Final Season" with their bullhorns and silly signs.

If indeed OWS protested "Survivor" CBS wouldn't know how to combat the political environment and would have to make changes to the 'game', like fork over some more dough to its contestants!

You could probably make the same claim for most of the reality shows. Problem is the people that sign up for them are willing to do anything for a shot and what they think is fame. They couldn't be exploited without their consent.

Not true, "Survivor" is the worst of the lot and plays into the OWS narrative. As far as workers being 'exploited", workers historically have been exploited even with their consent so just because someone is willing to be a pawn on the 'greedy' corporate chess board doesn't mean OWS can't influence the outcome of the game.

I'll bow to your judgement on this one, I don't know enough about the show. I've only watched a few episodes of its first season. It fostered all the worst qualities we possess as human beings. On that score alone I would hope the show would have failed a long time ago.

"It fostered all the worst qualities we possess as human beings", absolutely the best at being the worst type of suck ass workplace weasel ends up the million dollars [ a sum that hasn't change in 12 years] and 'honored' as "Survivor Champion". Does your workplace "honor" such people or fired them?

I suppose it would depend on who you worked for.

Survivor is a joke. It is another "outlet" for tribal instinct amongst the population. As is football, baseball, basketball (competitive sports in general) the target audience takes sides. It is another hypnotized crowd. People memorize plays, stats, names, etc. Waste their brains for what. Buy the gear, shirts, even dress their kids with apparel, flags on homes, stickers on cars, and it pays the players. That is where the money comes from.

This is the world we live in. Judgment, back stabbing it is how you really have to get ahead. I was in the corporate game (similar to Trumps show) same crap. Everyone tries to kill each other off, dog eat dog world. If people have this outlet and approach it will further it along in some, or act as a release to prevent it. Either way people get screwed and screw each other in society now a days.

I don't bite into any of this crap. I like a game of any sport now and then, and rather see it in person, as a treat.

I liked Mythbusters because there was science(and explosions) , the real survivor show Survivorman, (I have been on 2 week excursions myself and can relate, this stuff is true) Deadliest catch another good one, and the CSI series, as that is where we are headed as far as biometircs.
