Occupy Wall Street is the wrong name. It should be named Occupy Corporations. The corporations are the main cause of greed, the cause of millions dead, the cause of hidden jewels such as electric cars, cancer cures and free education. Everything has a cost, indeed, we must pay for it, but we must pay for the service and not for the 10 million bonus to the rats. The Corporations are mean to serve the people, they are public entities. If we all concentrate in demand from the government to establish new laws that make the corporation officials, liable financially and to bring them to justice, you will see how quickly the rats will stop, the government will see how fast the protests are gone, we need justice, we need to stop Monsantos, Waltmarts, Enrons and the BAOs and Paypals of the world, Monopoly has to stop, sooner or later, without customers to be able to pay, or to be controlled by the people and not by a few, one way or another, they will stop, it is up to the government and justice to decide it will all end.

human nature has greed/self-interest. stop whining about that - it's not going away. the problem is that when you take a big risk, you should suffer all the loss when you fail. corporations have lobbied the government for favors so they spread losses onto you, or make it unfair for you to compete with them. the government hands out the special favors. what should be protested is that the government can hand out special favors and the government IS handing out special favors. take the favors away and you take away the bullshit.

Start a business and compete against them. Then you can make outrageous profits. Easy huh?

I have a business, is 20% profit, if there are no jobs, start you own, but still, even if I have my own business one must show solidarity with the rest of the people, no reason why we will feel so comfortable if we have jobs or some money, that is not forever, and because we must be not so selfish and content, we have to support the people suffering, as they will do if were in their place. I have dozens or friends, family and acquaintances with no job and I do support this movement, screw TV, facebook and tweeting nonsense, pay attention to the issues concerning our planet.

Corporations? It should be "Occupy The White House". Only the President and the Congress can pass the laws we need. ............... ............ ............. http://www.savethe99.com/

Corporations are not public goods idiots, and yes we can thank the incredibly high living standard that we have in America to Corporations. Another name for a county that doesn't have major corporation- third world dump.

Occupy Corporations means not your average LLC or S Corp, is about creating awareness so they can give us all some respect. Look at HP, excellent CEO, fired because someone believe he was having an affair, fired and the stock went down, their fired thousands over this speculative bs, it didn't matter if Bob was an excellent employee or Mary was working there years, the affair was sufficient enough for the corporate standards to shake the world of thousands of innocent people. Look at Waltmart, Bring America Home, right.. All made overseas, on in factory ships in the middle of the ocean where people work just for food, what about the thousands of small businesses closed over unfair competition, what about stopping regular elective classes to add "how to be a cashier at waltmart" does it sound right to you? do you think that you voice counts against them if you speak to them directly?

Yet your protesting capitalism? You're an idiot.

your mother is an idiot for having you, go back to facebook and tv watching, people like you are the reason why we are in a mess, much rather to fool around than to work or get some skills, what do you do? press the button?

[-] 1 points by owstag (508) 12 years ago

You are really incredibly confused.

You're posting here like you advocate some radical left-wing anti-capitalist agenda, yet you claim to be a successful entrepreneur at 22 with several employees and looking to hire more in the worst economy since the great depression. Now, if any of this were true, why are you protesting capitalism and rubbing elbows with people whose main complaint is that the sort of success you claim to have is impossible?

Moreover, your saying "you'd rather fool around than to work or get some skills" is precisely what the critics of OWS have been saying about your fellow protestistas! You talk like a young Republican yet want to hang with the radical lefties, lol! [Incidentally young man, I have a job, thank you very much;)]

Frankly, the only business I could believe you run would be either a lemonade stand or perhaps selling weed.

I hope for your sake you really are just 15; I'd hate to think a 22 year old could be so confused.

Yes, they are the cause of why 90.9% of those wanting to work have a job. They should be ashamed.
