Are we able to persuade NASA to engage in one last shuttle launch for old times sake? Allow them to send a small team of OWS operatives to the moon and set up a protest camp for the literal whole world to see. Every man, woman and child who looks up at the night sky and sees our humble little tidal locked satellite will also find themselves looking to the OWS movement.

Would this be possible? Or would NASA just laugh the OWS operatives off site?

Maybe the Association of Autonomous Astronauts can be of assistance in achieving this goal

Lunacy

...I think we can go to the moon. Humanity did it before and is developing new ways to get there easier. OWS should join the space race - without haste - and copy ideas available everywhere. Take space ship one. It showed us that all you need to get into space is the knowledge to build a boat, an aeroplane and a jet engine. The whole feathering helps too; safe falls help you dare to learn to fly. Flying, in a less metaphorical sense, is easily automated through sensors and transparent programming combined with a gps-like. Anyone wrote a flight simulator bot lately? With time this can grow big enough, two cents is all it takes. ( Saving cheerleaders helps >>> David Bowie - 'Heroes' )
