TO ALL THE OCCUPY PROTESTERS! I am a college student in Philly. I have been glued to the TV watching everything happening around the country with the Occupy Movement. While doing so I had an epiphany. For all of you who are so tired of the economic inequality listen to this. Most of you are college students. I understand your pain. I too am a poor college student like so many of you. Taking that into consideration, be patient with me. We are tired of the backwards way money flows in this country, but did you know that there about 3.5 million people in America are homeless? Did you know that the official poverty number in America is 37 million? Take this into consideration as you protest. Instead of being bitter and angry at corporations who hold all the wealth show them how to share it. You have the power of numbers. Lead by example and help those 37 million in American. Volunteer at shelters, use occupy to hold events that show the world what it means to give back the wealth. Most times it doesn't even involve money, just time. I too am angry that I will forever be in thousands upon thousands of dollars of debt just to be an English teacher. I am even more outraged that they hold all the money while children starve in our country. Yet instead of getting violent I go out an give back. I go to soup kitchens and I tutor students in English at dangerous Philly schools just so they can one day obtain their dreams. There is so much you all can do besides peacefully sitting and protesting. Use your numbers and name to create good. Get them to change by leading through example. Every time you help someone, or give back, you show them it is possible. You show the selfishly rich that if we can do it, they can.

YOU HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE THE WORLD!!!

if you give a man a fish- tomorrow he will be hungry again- but if you teach him how to fish- he will never be hungry again! nor will his family and friends.

The cause of poverty is the rich and greedy , we must attract poverty at its source- remove corruption from government.
demand our tax money be spent on the suffering of the human family. and not to buy jets and mansions for the 1%
