Forum Post: Occupy Oakland Got It Right!

It's my understanding that occupy Oakland is pushing to recall Jean Quan. That is the kind of political activism that should be at the heart of Occupy Wall Street. Not being involved in politics is what created this monster-wealth grab that is sucking us all dry. Some Americans who know all the players of their favorite NFL team can't name a single member of the Senate or House. Now we're paying the price.
I agree. I believe we should be more politically literate. And lower the voting age to 16!!
That's an awesome idea. It forces the schools to talk about our political system and parents too. I love it :)
