Forum Post: Occupy Oakland - 19th and Telegraph occupation - Video

It should be noted the vacant lot which was occupied is owned by the cities redevelopment agency. Great care was taken in not damaging any surrounding private property. People who lived in the area and wanted to move there cars were let out quickly and peacefully. Art that had been posted up against the fence, i assume by students from the art school across the street from the lot, was also moved to a safe location by protestors. I think they took them to Ogawa Plaza but i'm not sure. They were headed in that direction.
