I believe there are a number of issues that need to be addressed in America and I believe that some very positive things can come from the Occupy protests happening around the country. I would like to propose that the Occupy Movement put together a list of candidates to run for office. I would suggest that the candidates be registered Independents. I think every state should put together their own "Occupy Candidates" to run for state positions. Each candidate would be endorsed fully by the Occupy movement and represent its ideology.
Lets target the corrupt politicians directly in offering America a better solution by replacing them with someone who truly wants to better America as a whole. Lets show the world that it doesn't take huge financial backing by corrupt corporations and special interest groups for a candidate to get into office. This is our America lets take it back! If we truly represent the 99% this shouldn't be hard to do! Lets show the world how we average Americans can band together and peacefully enact positive change in our own country. Lets do this for the greater good of America and ultimately the greater good of the world.
Let's try to get the author of the OWS handbook. Wildfire The Legislation That Ignited the Great Recession. He is right on point.
How about this stuff? It's not really finished or codified but it hits some of the core points: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gytiI1qwPDpnLQ8cRmNXoJFmiy4ob3n6yjqfBHpBH8M/edit?hl=en_US&pli=1
I have been active here since the very beginning, and since the very beginning I have been trying to make some core points. These points clearly have not been digested or fully understood by the mob, and so I'm going to try to make a further attempt here again.
For these reasons, I beg of you to please immediately join me on the wiki. We need to have all of these details and all of these ideas put together in an organized fashion, rather than posted in a long scrawl which will never be read.
