So, why doesn't someone who is good at making websites develop a form of citizens GroupOn/Living Social? The website could propose days where people could do business with businesses that are responsible and support the cause (Ben and Jerry's, etc.), and days of not doing business with businesses that make large political contributions to irresponsible legislator/legislation. The beauty of it is, if a deal isn't in line with the diverse goals of OWS people, they won't sign up, and a clear concise description of why the company should/n't be supported will let people decide which companies to spend their money at. This is a way everyday folks can participate, and move our country forward. It's a better idea than staying out in the cold until everyone gets sick.

You're in luck, Mainah! As a activist at heart, my close friend and I launched OccupyGroupon.wordpress.com blog on October 27th!

The blog touches on a number of things: while mainly satirical, we post about news related to the online deal business (the good, the bad, the ugly) and will be featuring social causes that people can support using online platforms such as Groupon.

We are always looking for guest posts and new ideas to keep our followers informed. Since we were inspired by the Occupy movement, we would love to incorporate these principles into some of our posts.
