⌛ Occupy Forum Regime Change

I want to announce that as of last night, DKAtoday (Dan) has chosen to step down from their responsibilities as moderator. In the meantime, shooz, grimwomyn, and I will do our best to fill in the gaps until things either settle down or we find a replacement.
I want to express my sincerest gratitude to Dan for all the hard work he's put into this community. There are very few people in the movement who've remained committed to helping out each and every day for the past two years, and Dan is one of them. He did these things asking for little in return because he cares about the Occupy Movement and wants it to succeed. And I believe his contributions have played an important part in helping this forum thrive—through good times and bad—and remain an active place for discussion two years after it formed.
Let us all take this as an opportunity to thank Dan and wish him the best on whatever he chooses to do next. I hope he'll choose to continue participating in this community, and I informed him yesterday that if he ever changes his mind, he'll be welcomed back as a moderator.

I think Dan rocks and I don't give a damn what anybody says. So, thank you Dan.
DKA has been consistent and unfailing in his vision, enthusiasm, insight, wisdom, encouragement, and support.
One of the first people to befriend me when I first started posting. Please stick around, OWS needs you.... there are many who read on the sidelines and don't post.... while you may not be able to turn around the mindset of die hard, contrarian debaters who harass you...your posts do not go without impact..... others are reading and hearing your message.

We both may have had some differences occasionally but that which unites us - truly abides.
