While we wait for Occupy's next big move, I propose a doggerel competition. Write a doggerel and post it here. You can vote with the like and dislike buttons. Here's mine:
Our world made up of WalMart
Let's put the bulls before the cart
Everybody must do his part
You can't bargain with WalMart
So never buy again at WalMart
All their stuff comes from the port
All kinds of stuff they love to sort
We must make sure they all abort
By making sure we close their port
We really are just all the same
We only differ by given name
So let's stop playing this evil game
Of chasing bucks for big time fame
Today I'll share with you my keys
You can drive around all you please
Just take a moment to hear my pleas
Please stop paying your banking fees
It starts to Occupy your heart
Then spreads to another body part
This anarchy here led by jart
An anarchy which tears apart
Our world made up of WalMart
No more Walmart? Horror of horrors. There's no like button on an OP. I think thats a technical error. So - LIKE. But I'll take Walmart over anarchy any day. Then again, maybe Walmart is a little anarchy.
for profit's sake,
we delineate.
those who are industrious,
from those who are lustrous.
in hopes of weeding out the boisterous.
is it worth it?
all for the profit..
oh how I abhor
the hordes of lying whores
who prowl the people's halls of power
bearing gifts in the name of Profit!
