What better way to stick it to the elite than resisting the biggest day of consumerism than protesting retailers nationwide and refusing to buy-in to corporate holiday spending?

People think retail spending will help give the economy the boost it needs but, it is this type of spending that got us into trouble in the first place. Buying ridiculously low priced products hurt small businesses and only help large retail companies thrive.

The only way for the system to work is a reset. The obsolescence of hyper-consumerism we face in this era is the key to a paradigm shift.

Why don't we all just go into major retail stores and walk around taking up space and then not buy anything all day. It's a way for the everyman (non-zucotti supporters) to take a stand within the movement as well.

If everyone dresses normal and doesn't draw attention to themselves they wouldn't know who to turn away and who to let browse their store for hours. We could even ask employees for help getting things to jam up their work flow.

I don't think this is an idea that should be applied to every store/ retail establishment. Perhaps stores that outsource labor to economically depraved countries could be a target for the non-violent protest that I'm suggesting.
