Obama signed NDAA 2012 yesterday. Do NOT be fooled by the 'Signing Statement' that's being touted by the media because a 'Presidential Signing Statement' HAS NO LEGAL EFFECT. see LAW LIBRARY OF CONGRESS--> http://www.loc.gov/law/help/statements.php

What little media there is on Obama's signing of UNCONSTITUTIONAL NDAA 2012 seems to be focusing on the signing statement... so don't fall for their tricks. Help set the record straight if/when you can. The 'statement' isn't comforting either because Obama says one thing and does the opposite all the time.

Obama proposed PREVENTATIVE indefinite detention back in 2009... he announced he would work to develop it as part of his "legal regime". The entire speech was absurd but this part still gets me, Obama said:

"In our Constitutional system, prolonged detention should not be the decision of any one man. If and when we determine that the United States must hold individuals to keep them from carrying out an act of war, we will do so within a system that involves judicial and congressional oversight. So going forward, my administration will work with Congress to develop an appropriate legal regime so that our efforts are consistent with our values and our Constitution"--

That kind of "legal regime" is "appropriate" for a totalitarian regime as it could never fit withing OUR Constitutional system~

The President has a duty to NOT sign anything that could be unconstitutional. Obama said he has "serious reservations" about the provisions regarding detention. If that's true, he would have honored his sworn oath to defend the Constitution and vetoed NDAA 2012.

The Senate's 'Due Process Guarantee Act of 2011' should be on the Senate floor this month... OCCUPY DUE PROCESS!!!

It's a Rude Wake Up Call America; Your Allotted Amount of Freedom Has Expired! http://saynotocorporateamerica.blogspot.com/2011/12/your-allotted-amount-

We need lawmakers that protect the Rule of Law but elections are rigged. The unelected-power-elite own the voting machines and paper ballots don't mean much when the counting machine is rigged.

Lawmakers are voting like they don't care what we think when so many pass laws the destroy the Bill of Rights. They know we are opposed t NDAA 2012 but they voted for it despite the unconstitutional provisions... they ignored us and their oath. It's almost like they don't even need our vote...it seems like they're counting on the Diebold vote/count!

True Democracy will ONLY happen when WE Occupy a Vote that Counts!

TIME TO GET REAL! NDAA, after some language changes regarding "indefinite detention", was passed (86-13 Senate) and (283-136 House). This 2/3 majority would override any presidential veto. It is time for us, Occupy, to get real. We need to speak truth. We need to fight real oppressors, not imaginary ones. We need to occupy our minds!

Bushbama has issued his NDAA Signing Statement:

Here is mine:

Americans must not be distracted by Corporate Fascist Puppet Barack Obama saying "my Administration will not authorize the indefinite military detention without trial of American citizens" in his signing statement for the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 (H.R.1540). Presidential "signing statements" are political propaganda with no Constitutional basis. A President who breaches a signing statement covenant faces no more consequences than any other corrupt politician who renegs on a promise. By signing NDAA and attempting to give its unconstitutional provisions the force of law, Barack Hussein Obama became complicit with all of the bought-and-paid-for U.S. Senators and Representatives who voted for this bill, and along with them should be charged with Seditious Conspiracy under U.S. Code Title 18 Part I Chapter 115 Section 2384. Unless and until these vermin are arrested, charged and removed from office, I will no longer consider the government they infest to be legitimate. Nor will I respect any ruling to the contrary from a judicial system that grants rights of citizenship to corporate entities that treat settlements and penalties for criminal conduct as costs of doing business with no concerns about incarceration or execution to deter their illegal, immoral or unethical conduct.

No more Left. No more Right. Time to Unite. Stand and Fight!

IronBoltBruce, I just read your signing statement on your post... I agree 1000%

Absolutely! The courts are in on it too but that doesn't mean we shouldn't charge every signer of NDAA 2012 with Seditious Conspiracy!

All I want is Justice, Liberty, Peace and the Rule of Law!

and to know if I can get rid of this spam! PEACE

Obama is ex-CIA, like his mother was and even his grandmother.

We are entering a phase worse than World War II, it will be worldwide feudalism, called corporatism.
