Gaddafi threatens to destroy a city of "rebels."
In order to prevent this from happening, Obama and NATO then destroy the city of Sirte.
The assault on Sirte, a city of 100,000 people, left virtually every building smashed, with untold numbers of civilians dead, wounded and stricken by disease, as they were deprived of food, water, medical care and other basic necessities.
Hypocrisy anyone? Here's some photos of the destroyed city where civilians lived.
What was done in Libya was not a solution. Why would NATO and Obama resort to destroying a city and putting a country in turmoil over threats, if diplomacy once before got Gaddafi to turn down the idea of having nuclear weapons?
Dennis Kucinich railing against Al Qaeda ties with the Libyan rebels.
NATO commander admits that "flickers" of Al Qaeda and Hezbollah terrorists among the Libyan rebels. This should officially classify them as "associated forces" under the NDAA of 2012. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtGe6zk52Cw
More inhumanity amongst the "libyan rebels" surfaces as they torture blacks on video for being black - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4icorYD_mE&list=FLEwSllwonAZBCc7W3e27_dQ&index=1&feature=plpp_video
How is all of this an answer to the problem?
If this happened under Bush... maybe the democrats would speak out against this like they did during Iraq.
