I would leave christmas alone.
no one would notice you in that enormous crowd. complete waste of time.
Fortunately, you live in or near NYC. Where I live you would have run out of things to OCCUPY long ago unless you want to go after the sheep and goats.
HOW about you occupy bungie jumping at the Empire State Building, just a suggestion if case you are running low on ideas.
