The year 2012 has been predicted to be a short year. Something we all would mourn. I think there should be a mock funeral to celebrate the end of the world as we know it. The end of the world's friends should get acknowledgement for their help.
Benjamin Fulford also suggested something like this. Not that it is the end of the world literally, but that it is the end of the world as we are familiar with it. Then start fresh from year Zero
