Where is this "one simple demand" you keep talking about?
All trading (which includes proprietary trading and brokerage) cannot coexist with investment banking (or vice versa). They cheat with the proprietary information they have. Because they are greedy pigs, they simply can't help themselves.
Right now it looks as though the "one simple demand" will become abolishing corporate personhood.
I get the sense that this is going to be decided the day everyone gets out there. And yes, if something practical and achievable isn't decided on quickly, the whole thing collapses. That's the risk.
