Today is August 12, 2011. In the United Stated of America the experiment called representative democracy is over. The rich and powerful, the multi-national corporations, people and their businesses who have no interest in a particular country or group of people have used their influence to steal almost all representation from the people who live and work here and in other countries, as well. It is no longer governement by the people, for the people, as it was intended. Just watch this video and you will see who and what our representitives represent now: (This is Mitt Romney. He is running for President of the USA in 2012)

August 11, 2011 - Corporations are People

Toxic greed and selfishness have won. People that live in countries that do not have democracy have had enough of their leaders malicious greed and selfishness, too. It is usually these very same rich and powerful people and corporations, in cooperation with local leaders, that cause this pain in these countries as well. We have all been watching the North African and Middle -Eastern uprising/revolutions that are occuring.

I am proposing a new World-wide political party called The Fully Transparent Governement Direct Democracy Party - FTGDDP.

In this age of the internet and ability to use biometrics(fingerprint and eye iris pattern recognition) we can all participate in democracy from our homes. The internet and social media will allow each of us to hear the many different voices out there and decide which one is right for ourselves. The internet will allow every detail of government to be transparent, because every detail of what is being done with our tax money will be put on the internet. All government agencies including the military and intellegence agencies will be auditable and be held to ethical standards.

All people (not corporations) will have a new set of rights:

Privacy, free health care, clean air and water, free education, religious freedom, computer with biomtric devices(for voting), a method to check that the voting computers are accurately counting votes, we will discuss this later.

Also, we must have all of our people, around high school age, serve the governent in some way for one or two years. This way, our military will be composed of not just the least fortunate of us, but of the full cross-section of society. This will make war much less probable, becasue we will all have our children at stake and will pay attention to and participate more in government. The serving of a year or two with some appropriate compensation(free education + small pay) will teach our children about civics and the importance of and place of government in our lives.

We have no problem with people or groups of people owning businesses; for this is the way people can live their lives, have families and be in a happy and productive society. However, when people work for wages where they can not afford the most basic things, have no decent health care or education opportunities, cannot save money, or must pool their resources with others to have a place to live, while others working in the very same business own jets and have millions, if not billions of dollars at their command is just not fair. Or when companies that give out these lavious pay to their executives yet pollute the local land, sky, and water of the places near their business is very unethical., also.

The computers provided will allow local people to voice concerns to a web site focused on local activities. They will be able to work together to detail out problems and work out solutions.
